Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PortugalIt was not a problem for us as we did not go into town/Alhambra while staying here as we went to Sierra Nevada, but it is worth noting it is quite a bit North in the city and not as walkable to the main attractions. As a result, the location is not the most picturesque, but it is very convenient and great value for money.
The hotel itself exceeded expectations, and the room was great. Everything was clean, check-in was convenient and the shower pressure was amazing. Staff were very accommodating and let us keep our luggage stored safely in the hotel after checking-out. There is a cute cafe/bar in the lobby too which was open early in the morning, cappuccino was great. It is reasonably close to the bus station and train station so that is useful.

NetherlandsThe garage entrance was horribly small... The neighbor room decice to come home at 3 am and make a lot of noise. Nothing the hotel can do about, just incredible how rude some people are.
Just outside the old center but in walking distance. If you want to save the walking for the center and/or Alhambra, the bus stops right in front of the hotel and in 4 stops you are in the center. Check out the tapas bar at the street behind the hotel, order a drink and you get the tapa for free, and lots of choice

SpainThis time, nothing. Last time there was rubbish behind desk and grubby walls. Much cleaner.
Across road from hospital. Essential. Stayed here 5 or 6 years ago and hated it. This time much, much better and will stay again when in Granada. Reception helpful when we were struggling to find more nights .

SpainThe mattresses must be changed immediately as they are old, rugged, squeaking and uncomfortable. The blankets are also very old, and odd looking. We stayed in 4 star hotels in Madrid and Sevilla, and the rooms were far better than at Princess Ana. It can be easily fixed.
The receptionist has been very helpful and kind. The location is good.

SpainYou could hear people upstairs and in the next room and corridors slamming doors, dragging furniture, bumping etc till 4 am and then again from 7 am on. Impossible to have a decent sleep. The soap dispenser didn't work. The toilet was difficult to flush; you need to push hard and in a certain angle and impossible to flush just half of it. You need to go through corridors downstairs and then upstairs again to reach a room on the first floor (I don't have any mobility problems, at least not at this time, but one would just need a sprain ankle to find difficulties to reach the room). They charge you 2 euros for a safe and there's no fridge in a 4-star hotel! Even the clothes hangers belong to another hotel (this is not important in itself but it only goes to show). Honestly I've been at 2-stars hotels that were better.
The location was fine.

RomaniaThe location for wc was tiny, towels were full of chlorine which made my eyes sting and also provoked a body rash .AC was only working on the warm setting and when asked at the front desk I was told only in June I could have the setting on cold. Small parking lot. No mini fridge even if in their site it said they had one in the room .

SpainThe room (101) was small or the price and it was also near some very loud pipes, or a boiler, that made a lot of noise early in the morning. The walls are thin and i was woken up by other guest. The parking was not well signposted.
Is was clean and fancy looking. Seems respectable enough.
