Met by the property manager on arrival and provided a personal tour of apartment and amenities as well as tips for getting about Barcelona. Property is nearby to two metro line stations and only 5 stops to the Sagrida Familia. Manager was engaging and informative. During stay, nothing was too much trouble, including allowing late check out. Would highly recommend this property.

I loved everything and no bug bears

If you want authentic Spain then this is the place for you to stay. Situated in the heart of Sant Antoni here you are close to pubs, restaurants and supermarkets. The tube to get into the central of Barcelona is only a 5 minute walk on the purple line 2. The host is super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The apartment is spotless and very comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. The beds are extremely comfortable and I slept really well the whole 3 nights I was there. Would highly recommend this apartment and would score 10/10 already planning our next stay

It is very old house and access to room is bit complicated and elevation only allowed 2 people.

The location was good and plenty of bars and restaurants close-by and close to Metro station. The attractions are walkable 25-30mins. The kitchen has all utensils to cook and many grocery shop nearby. It a. perfect place to feel the local life style. The owner kept plenty of towels to use .

Perfectly located, it is close to all the must see locations in the city. The neighborhood is very cosy and vivid and the house warm and convenient in a nice building built in 1886! The host was very helpful giving us nice tips for our stay. I totally recommend it!

the smaller bedroom of two had no window. so none of us wanted to use it. my friend and i shared the large bed and it was ok for us.

spacious and well equiped. its facilities were a bit torn down, however there was everything neccessary and well functioning. plenty of bars, restaurants and shops in the street. yet the apartment was quiet. bus and metro within 5 mhin walk. we enjoyed our stay.

The apartment could benefit from an upgrade on insulation of windows/doors since the noise from the bars and restaurants becomes disturbing after 10 p.m. A little bit more attention to details when cleaning is done and improving the offer of everyday use objects and products (e.g., toilet paper, soap, kitchen towels).

Close to metro stations (Sant Antoni and Poble Sec) and walking distance (20-30 min) to the beach and other attractions (e.g., The Maritime Museum, The Aquarium). The neighbourhood may be appreciated by people who use to stay up longer in the night since there are a lot of bars and restaurants around. Families may find it easy to go shopping (Sant Antoni Market or Lidl) even on Sunday when there are small shops open. The staff answered all our questions and made all efforts to be a great stay in Barcelona.

Not a dislike but a caution - a mobile phone that has Barcelona coverage is necessary to effect checking in/out as the manager is not on site.

The area is not crowded with tourists. It is a delightful area that reflects the culture and traditions of Barcelona. There is an abundance of local shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. The manager Michel was very good and went out of his way to make us feel welcome, as did his associate Jan.

The property is a 3 minute walk to the San Antoni market (and metro). The local market free of the thousands of tourists at the Mercado de La Boqueria and much better prices. Lots of small supermarkets fruit shops pharmacies an other services. We felt very safe in this family neighbourhood. Fantastic value for money. Excellent communication with the owner who was on site to meet us.

The lock for the door was hard to do at times. It may have something to do with too many sangrias.

Location, location, location! The area had everything we needed and close to bus, subway, and taxis. A washing machine in the apartment was also helpful.
