Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BulgariaEverything was perfect.
The hotel is a great mixture of an old refurbished city house, with a nice contemporary addition. Everything is decorated with taste and feels very homely. The common areas (indoors and outdoors) are great if you just want to hang out after a long day out and browse through the nice library. The hotel is located in a nice and lively city from where you'll easily reach all the point of interest of the rest of the island. The room itself was well equipped, very quiet, and the bed was super comfortable. Now, the main feat of the hotel is not the hotel itself but its host. Ignasi has been very welcoming, helpful in his suggestions for food, walks and shops to check out, and always had stories on the history of Menorca. Overall he just has a contagious love for Menorca, its history and its people. Definitely would recommend to anyone seeking a homely, warm and friendly place to stay in Menorca to give a go to Ses sucreres (especially if you can go off season). It was my first time in Menorca and Ignasi's hotel, and I'm looking forward to coming back for my next retreat.

SerbiaIt's a building from the 19th century that has been refurbished while retaining its authentic vibe, which is beautiful and I really like it. HOWEVER, it negatively affects, for example, the privacy of people sharing a room, here I'm mainly referring to the fact that the bathroom is not exactly isolated from the bedroom.
The most charming hotel in the world, the owner was there all the time, even preparing breakfast for us, an extremely kind person, everything they make and do is beautifully stylized, all my senses enjoyed it!

GermanyWe spent an amazing week in Minorca both in Ses Sucreres and Hevresac. We were welcome by Ignasi, whose kindness and intelligence equals professionalim. In Sucreres we spent the nights in the older part of the hotel, there is also a more modern part but this is only a matter of style. The room was nicely decorated, furnished, practical and functional. We personally loved the very homy and personal touch. The breakfast was delicious and served by the lovely Laura in the main room. I loved the space of the room, it is generous airy, light and cosy, we did spend there some time with our children after our daily trips. We got a tremendous amount of recommendations for those. There is an additional collective space in the historic part that we enjoyed for late evening tea. The whole place has a true soul (and a garden)! And it allows for both interactions or discretion, whatever suits best your style and needs. Definitively recommending. So big shout out to the whole team (Ignasi, Laura for breakfast and the cleaning ladies) for this stay we enjoyed very much! Same goes for Hevresac. Wafa (For reference, our girls are 7 and 9.)

United KingdomI would prefer breakfast to be included in the price.
Ignasi is a generous-hearted and warm host, the property is just lovely, bedroom suite spacious and clean with an extremely comfortable bed, bathroom products are super quality, breakfast was very good, Ignasi provided skimmed milk on request for me, which seems to be a rarity anywhere! Ses Sucreres deserves every ounce of praise and success, I will definitely return.

Franceroom 12 (specifically this one as it's the one I was in) was really nice and but came with one flaw: bathroom (with toilets) close to the bed with no window and poor ventilation disabling natural drying of towels and swimsuits, generating unwanted smell, and no way to completely shut the door, which is not really pleasant for toilets Shower was great though (good water pressure)!
very well furnished with great taste spacious rooms very nice and confortable environment both indoor and outdoor diversified breakfast (typical food + "continental" food as well, eggs and ham on demand, fresh fruits) with great service
