Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaNo view from the room we had.
Comfortable unit with all the necessary kitchen tools. Location was a short walk from tour meeting points. Restaurant was reasonably priced with a nice outdoor patio. Unit had a small outdoor patio with table and chairs. Best to take a taxi from train station to property as it’s a bit of a climb. Directions to property do warn its a short walk from bus station at Gran Via and a 80m ascent on cobblestone roads.

SingaporeIt's pretty high up. Going down for shopping and food is great. But the climb back up is tiring.

Lithuania-
Perfect place to stay. Suites are in old town area, you can explore the city by foot. Neighborhood are very calm and romantic (small streets and white houses around). From inner garden there is outstanding view of the Granada, where you can find lovely restauran you can enjoy at the evening. Staff is very friendly, fluent in english. Rooms are spacious, have all the facilities we needed. There is garage for the car if needed, we had instructions how to find the place and found it easily on google maps (streets are narrow so better go with smaller car)

The reception desk was very helpful even arranging a private taxi to the train station early in the morning. Suggested taking a taxi to the Alhambra which was helpful

United States of AmericaSkimpy on the toilet paper.
The room was way over my expectations. It would be hard to beat the excellent location. Just five minutes to bus stop at small church plaza direct to Al Hambra with stop at Mirador St Nicolas on way home. Short walk to Plaza Nueva as well. Would stay here again in a flash. What a great room I had in H5

United States of AmericaThe split level was difficult for us as we are older adults. We wish the dryer had worked earlier and better. A regular coffee maker would have been more desirable for us. The floor heaters were not working and the weather was cold, so we were cold the first night, as we did not understand how to work the thermostat for the air temperature. The staff explained it to us the next day.
The apartment was clean, spacious and had a pretty view from the front entry door. The staff in the front office was always very friendly and helpful. It was great that the apartment came with a wash machine that was supposed to convert to dryer, but unfortunately the dryer did not work for us. We appreciated that they gave us a carton of milk, coffee pods, tea and sweetener. We did have a difficult time getting the coffee machine to work. We appreciated that the staff came promptly to try to fix the dryer and give us the extra supplies that we needed. Good location!

United States of AmericaOur unit was down a couple flights of stairs, so carrying our luggage was not fun, but we managed. Other than that, it was great.
The apartment was very comfortable. The location seemed daunting at first, with the narrow maze of streets surrounding the hotel, but the reception staff helped us figure out buses and taxis. It really turned out to be a great location for us. We enjoyed our stay very much.

AustraliaAbsolutely nothing
Staff were incredibly helpful, engaging and professional. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Coffee machine with capsules was much appreciated. Easy to walk to both the Alhambra and to the Mirador, as well as many restaurants. We had a superb meal at the restaurant next door associated with Smart Suites, El Mirador del Tato. Do not try and walk from the station! It is on a steep hill with cobblestones. Taxi will cost you 6-8 euros. We loved Granada and our stay here!
