Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Not too much not to like, The industrial view towards Vila sec is unfortunate.
Hotel perfectly located on beach front, area still very quite at the end of May which suited us very well. Breakfasts very good. This is a very good value hotel.

The TV wasn’t connect proprely to wifi and the room it’s a bit small.
The location and the clean that it was the room. The balcony was nice.

The hotel has a formal dress code (long trousers) for dinner which sadly was not enforced. This resulted in a number of clientele turning up for dinner very shabbily dressed which in my view was very disrespectful to the hotel, its staff and those adhering to the formal dress code.
Hotel in great location close to beach. Ample choice of food which was always well presented. All staff were friendly, approachable and we're always eager to please.

Would have liked an earlier dinner sitting. 8pm is quite late especially if you have an early start.
Everything, we were able to store our bikes when we were early, and then take them to our rooms. The very comfortable, spacious balcony rooms and beautiful food.

The food choices in the dinner buffet were not for me and the food wasn’t hot.
It’s in a really good location close to the town and beach. The staff are helpful and friendly and the hotel has a luxurious feel to it.

The location is brilliant, right on a lovely beach. The outside part of the restaurant feels like it is on actually on the beach. The hotel is modern inside, we had a superior room overlooking the beach at the front. The pool area is small, but it nicely laid out and clean. The buffet food was of a good standard, with some items cooked when requested. The fresh orange juice with breakfast is a great touch. Overall we really enjoyed our stay amd found the hotel very relaxing.

The key card wristbands needed to be reset daily. It would have been good to have sunloungers on the beach.
The location was quiet and beachfront. The food was good. The bed was comfortable, room was spacious and the shower was good.

we arrived really late because of a late flight we asked if they could save us some food they were happy to do so both plates were huge so were both happy travelers we also had a great view from the 5th floor of the sea

The elevator was a bit slow. Also the towels were a bit old, as they did have some gray stains on them. Wasn't bothering at all, but maybe something to improve :)

-I wish they had chairs and umbrellas on the beach, or at least an option to rent some in hotel. -The pool could be bigger, but in June it's not crowded. -Ventilation in room toilet is missing.
Great value for money we paid. Hotel is right at the beach, with beautiful trees and view. It's well connected with busses from Barcelona airport. Staff was very kind and helpful. Food was really good, also. Overall, we had a very relaxing time in Best Terramarina.

Breakfast: scrambeld eggs , bacon , saucijs, were cold Diner : food wasn't very warm. This is the 5 time we where guest, we love the hotel but food isn't warm.
