Lift broken. Didn’t have any intention of mending it before the season finished. Had to use a small grubby service lift , which wasn’t fit for our purpose. The whole hotel needs a refit to bring it up to standards you would expect. I have stayed here for the past 10 years and no improvement in decor

Hotel a little dated And one of the staff was a little simple,which does feel harsh to say He kept getting drunk orders wrong and would often serve people that had pushed in front at the bar

Hotel Tropico is situated right across the beach, and the location is (of course) excellent! Had an amazing view watching the morning sun rise above the horizon. The breakfast was great, but unfortunately I can't say the same about lunch and dinner... There should have been more options,- especially regarding chicken and fish. However, this was my 2nd stay in this hotel, and once again it was a wonderful place to stay!

Rooms are tired and dated, but very clean with lovely comfy beds

Great location and nice and clean. Staff work hard, drinks good and food OK, great homemade pizzas !! Hotel entertainment could be better, but heyho you can't please everyone. Plenty of other pubs etc around and even got to watch the footie, Lol.

I did not like that on 2 occasions we found a cockroach in a hotel: 1st time in a reception (uninvited guest?) and 2nd time in my wife's mum's bathtube (went in through the pipe?). Also I did not like that the proper A/C worked only in our rooms - but everywhere else it was rather warm (looked like in other parts of the building it was switched so it wastoo warm and eventually you started sweating once getting out of your room). It is sad that this hotel did not have a car park (or it was not located anywhere nearby).

The 3 reasons I primarily came to this hotel was 1. location, 2. location and 3. location..... yet - 4. all inclusive.... Despite I paid around 4 k euros for 2 rooms (3 adults + 2 kids) over 9 nights stay - it was still one of the best option of hotels meeting my criteria (hotel 3+ star with all inc. option, next to the beach). The hotel seems to be a bit outdated if you look here and there, but still as family of 2+2 we got nice room with 4 beds, with front view (my wife's mum got a single room with side view). The meals were nice and tasty and as for 3 star it was more than enough - there was always plenty of choice and we were never hungry or dissatisfied because of it.

This is in a prime location, right opposite the beach, plenty of bars and restaurants shops ,ect, what more can you ask for ,great place.

For there to be more options such as non dairy milk and veggie sausages. More pillows rather than one flat one. Cot had cigarette burns in, tile broken on the balcony, broken picture on the wall, no soap in the bathroom. All sorted in the end. Definitely needs renovating.

Perfect location for shops & the beach. Lovely cafe called Naturpoke less than 4 mins walk away. Food wasnt terrible but not enough options for us. The chef did however cook for us our own pizza minus the cheese.

The only downside was the key system. I had to reactivate my room key every time I left the room.

Amazing location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good value for money. Was allowed to use the facilities all day after checking out including the all inclusive restaurant due to having a late flight.
