You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

SloveniaRude and disinterested staff. Noise from street level. Noise from ceiling fan. Very poor sleep. Denied permission to leave and refund second night. Refused option to move to a quieter room as hotel was apparently fully booked even though rooms were still available on Booking.com Concerns met with a torrent of verbal abuse.

SpainThe rooms were small and the bed was like a rock. It was difficult to park although I had emailed ahead and they said there was free parking out front. The deal breaker for us was there was a carnival directly across the street that went on for many hours into the night with diesel fumes omitting from the rides which meant we had to keep the window closed. So the room was stuffy and hot. To make matters worse there was a live band that started at 10 pm and played until 4 am! It was the worst night we have ever had in a hotel, we didn’t sleep a wink. We left the next morning after spending the first day of our vacation on the internet looking for another place to stay, a terrible start to a week off. They charged us for three nights, even though we should been given a refund. Breakfast was very mediocre.
We loved that it was across from a beautiful beach. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant.
