Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaIf I had to pick something it would be that travelling with suitcases, the room was a teeny bit small but it's barely something to complain about.
Perfect location, walking distance to a lot of places and it was in a quiet part. The accommodation itself was beautiful and the rooms were great. The room was comfortable and had what we needed. Staff were wonderful.

United States of AmericaOur neighbors woke us up at 5 am playing music in their room…they had just come back from partying because when my spouse asked them politely to quiet down, they said “they forgot” and she could tell they were intoxicated. They seemed to wake all our other rooms around us too, Additionally, two of our party had booked with us through booking.com and unfortunately, due to health issues, couldn’t come on the trip. I notified both booking.com and Zaida 2 weeks prior to our arrival regarding a refund. Booking.com said they would be happy to offer the refund given the circumstances, however, Zaida never returned our message and therefore kept the booking, which was unused. It felt a bit dirty. Lesson, get trip insurance?
We enjoyed our stay at Zaida. The room was nice and clean. It wasn’t over the top, but it certainly wasn’t just a polished up old hostel (as other reviewers have stated). It had character and the location was super. We would go back and stay in an instant. Nice lounge on the roof terrace as well.

United KingdomThe hotel takes parties of school kids which means that breakfast can be a bit chaotic if you are present when a school group (both juniors and seniors) are dining. If I stayed there again I would ask when the school groups were liable to be at breakfast.
This is very good calue for money. The breakfast range was huge, and the place well run with helpful staff. The area in which it is located looks a bit run down, but it is a very safe neighbourhood with a metro stop around 400 yards away and a 24 hour supermarket round the corner.

BelgiumThere is no breakfast option in the hotel. The room had only a small window.
Hotel Zaida has an excellent location, right next to lively squares and nice shops. It is also only 400 m from the river bank if you want to go running along. There is a simple but pleasant rooftop terrace.

United States of AmericaFor a hotel, there were no facilities - more like an apartment without the kitchen. The room was small & noisy - from the adjacent lobby & the construction just outside the window.
Great spot in the old city with access to everything. The bath was excellent & very clean thorought. Beds were very comfortable.

GermanyIts absolutely minor, but the coffeemaker didn't work and there was tea, but no water cooker.
Beautiful place, very nice staff, really clean. The location is great to walk into the city center and find all the sights. It is a little far from the train station and airport, but you can easily get a 4 euro ticket to and from the airport, the bus stop is close to the hotel.

United KingdomThis is a really classic Seville building right in the heart of all the winding streets in the old part of the city. Very close to the Museo de Beaux Arts (lots and lots of paintings and it's a fabulous building - I think it's free for everyone to go in). We really liked the hotel and the neighbourhood. Lots of great places to eat nearby, or just go for coffee or a drink. The room was lovely, the bed was big, the shower was excellent. I love all the Moorish tiles and the atrium - it's just great. We even had a fridge.
