Dinner wasn’t great. Pasta was half-cold with a sprinkling of dried herbs. Rooms aren’t really soundproof and we were kept awake most of the night by someone snoring lustily in the next rooom.

Great location very near the beach. Friendly, efficient staff, especially manger in restaurant who was extremely efficient and spoke very good English. English speakers are seated at specific tables to be served in English. The room had a bath, which after a long day on the trail was much appreciated.

Parking situation was not ideal although there was some blue bays free round the back streets. I had to walk 5mins 1st day and second day I got just round the corner. It's a nice area and wasn't worried to leave the car at all. Coffee machine in resecption took coins which is impractical this day and age. Limited convenience stores close by and little snack and drink choices. There was a vending machine but only snacks not drinks. I did come in late but just wanted a tea and a biscuit. No hot drink making facility in the room but was a small fridge. . Didnt have any food at the hotel so can't comment but wasn't to impressed with the menu hence took a walk for food. I tried dava street food place and was amazing and went back next day. I'd recommend this hotel and would stay again it's above average but just not modern enough for me but that's just my taste and preference I can't complain just realistic and was good price for two nights. The guy was helpful to loan me an iron for short while as I had a meeting the next day.

Location was excellent, room was clean and comfortable. I arrived in Zarauz on a busy weekend without a reservation but the staff was able to accommodate me with a room. I was thankful for this maybe not the best room but it fit the bill with the price. Nice place close to beach and places to eat I would stay there again.

Everything was as expected from reviews and photos.

The hotel was clean and comfortable after a long walk on the Camino del Norte from San Sebastian. While relatively basic, it is just like shown in the photos. The shower works really well!

Unfortunately this is an older building, while it comes with a ton of charm it also comes with non soundproof rooms. Our upstairs neighbors made a ruckus from 10pm till 11.30pm. Rearranging the furniture and walking with cement shoes on, just to start back again at 5.30 am until 7am.

The staff was really friendly and welcoming. We got an upgrade which we were extremely happy about. The shower water was hot and the pressure was great and powerful and we truly appreciated being able to open the windows in big or top. Plenty of room to store our clothes if needed, and fridges in the room.

We booked a room for 3 and had 2 rooms provided as part of the one hotel room so we had loads of space. We loved that it was a older hotel that has kept its character. It was very clean.

The room was initially warm due to no air conditioning, but they kindly offered us a fan. The beds were firm!

The location was great- spacious room and lots of light in the corner room- the staff was friendly and helpful- and found a fan for us for our room!
