We didn't have bed sheets with us so we rented them, but my husband (who has a strong sense of smell) found that they smelled a little bit like cigarette smoke. I personnally didn't notice.

This place feels so cozy and authentic! I loved having breakfast there in the morning while watching the sun rise above the snowy hills by the window. It's very easy to reach by bus from Tromso (with Best Arctic buses). It's also really close to a convenience store, restaurants, and hiking paths, and relatively close to the Kiplisjärvi lake. This lake is frozen all winter long, so it's an ideal spot to watch northern lights!

Not a lot I didn't like really, it was a comfortable place to stay and sleep for a few nights.

Breakfast was providing our own but it was a very good location close to the main reception and K-market. The restaurant at K Market was extremely nice too and tgr host was extremely friendly and I would recommend coming again. Polar night was fascinating and added a new dimension to the whole stay. Watching the amazing colours in the mountains with a constant, sunrise/sunset sky

It is overprice for not providing basic neccessity of hotel such as WIFI, linen and towels. No body bring linen and towels in their holidays. The hotel should think about this

In the hallway there are 3 lists of rules and extra rule about cleaning. However, there was hair on the floor and table when we entered. If you try to open the window on the second floor, the curtain will fall, as it is not attached

The hairdryer didn’t work and had hair on it. The owner had said to us that we could contact him if there’s a problem or we need anything but we didn’t cause it was not really an issue for us anyway! I’m sure if we had asked him he would fix it! :)

Perfect location that gave us a magical northern lights experience at night. Very friendly staff and a good rate for finnish standards. Well equipped with everything we needed. We were also allowed to change our reservation to one day later without an extra charge, so we really appreciated that.

Need to pay for bed sheets and towels, or bring or own; and pay for check-out cleaning or do it yourselves. Not is con per see, since most of northern Finland does this for some reason, but still not that customer friendly,

We went for a hike to the "Three-Country Cairn" in bad weather conditions, while hiking called the Kilpisjärvi visitors center for navigation advice. They told us to return back and not attempt the hike, never heard from them again. And we ignored them and made the full hike. On the other side the sweet ladies from the village called us to make sure we are alright, alive, not lost and need no help. Thank you!

The cabin was somewhat outdated and it was sloppily painted on the inside. The price was high compared to the quality of the apartment.

The location was very good. A minutes walk from the store and restaurant. Nice views.

Great value for money, warm and spacious! We enjoyed the sauna when outside was -20C. Sheets and towels aren't included in the price but you can just use your own, beds are equipped with pillows and duvets. Definitely recommended!

unwelcoming vibe - at the entrance a long list of how much you need to pay in case you break something, such as extremely old coffee machine jug, dishwasher that is at least 30 years old etc. you have to pay extra (a lot!) for the bedsheets and you need to put them on yourself. they are also not matching, with “exotic” prints such as tiger etc and definitely no fabric softener because they were extra stiff. You also need to clean yourself, otherwise they will charge you 30 EUR. The message about additional payments comes after you make a reservation.

Watch out — they charge a lot of extra for basics like bed linens and towels and cleaning — for two persons it amounted to 58 euros. The sauna floor was dirty with human hair from previous guests and there was no toilet paper.
