The Elea Apartments feel like a little peaceful Paradiese The hosts are amazing and really did everything to make us feel welcome and relaxed. When we had some problems, they even helped us sort them out. Breakfast is delicious and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous.

Property is very nice, small and cosy with nice design and pool. A short walk to the sea. Amazingly welcoming staff. We checked in during busy time after a wedding but they cared for us to feel at home.

Warm welcome from the hosts who were super helpful and kind enough to change our room after I had accidentally booked the wrong type. Really helpful in recommending local restaurants and places to visit. Very chilled, friendly vibe overall. Food was delicious and pool was a lovely addition to a relaxed place. Have already recommended to friends and family and would go again.

The place is very beautiful and the room was well equipped. Everyone working at Elea was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. They gave us great recommendations in the area. Breakfast, especially the pancakes are out of this world. We had a very good stay and would come again anytime.

Elea Suites & Residences is in a beautiful location surrounded by scenic olive trees and is run by a beautiful family who attend to your every need. It is a very peaceful place with an authentic atmosphere and is only a five-minute walk away from the beach and other facilities such as restaurants and small supermarkets. As soon as we can, we will definitely be returning to Elea Suites & Residences.

Two things that in my opinion need to be looked at: - they have a cat on site . He’s the sweetest thing and he’s well looked after. But because he’s mostly outside, his skin seems a bit sore. Maybe a quick visit to the vet to get him checked. - we booked a boat trip with the hotel and we realised on the day that most people on the trip have payed less than us. I think the agency charge extra when you go through the hotel . I would recommend booking directly in town .

The property is exactly as advertised ! Beautiful and very confortable rooms . The owners go above and beyond to make your stay as confortable and enjoyable as possible . We really felt like we were staying with family.

We would recommend that it is better to rent a car if you are looking for to stay for a longer time in gouves, so its easier to get to the supermarket or another beaches. Giannis helped us finding a car to rent, so we could go for another places by car on some days.

Giannis and his team are the perfect hosts for your stay and vacation in Gouves. Everyone is so kind and offers you help whenever you need it. We felt comfortable and are already missing the hosts. The hotel area is very nice and clean. You can relax there, go for a swim or eat something homemade until late afternoon. Also the interior is beautiful and well chosen. Our apartment was very cozy and clean. Everyone has got his own balcony, so you have got enough privacy. The breakfast was awesome! The homemade banana chocolate pancakes were the best we ever had and a pleasure to eat. You will get a basket of bread, marmalade, coffee or tea as well and something sweet and after that you can choose between four amazing main dishes. All of them were great and delicious. A must have, when you stay at Elea Suites Hotel. The hotel is also located very well. It takes five minutes to the beach and to be surrounded by some great Cretan taverns. It was easy to get there by bus, if you arrive at Heraklion Airport. All in all we loved being there for two weeks and we can recommend a stay to everyone!

Janis was so nice , the flat was amazing and the pool was great too. Janis gave us tips where to go and where to eat, helped us to rent a car ect. His parents were also very nice and lovly! We were so happy to be guests there and will come back for sure!

The second bed in the living room was very firm—too much for our liking. The property is also located under the airport flight path. This didn’t bother us often, but maybe it would be an issue for others.

The family run property is well taken care of and the staff is very helpful. Their pool is relaxing and lovely and the “breakfast” is served all day on a shaded patio. The beach, restaurants and shops are all walking distance and they have ample parking for guests. There are many olive and fruit trees and a garden with many vegetables. our favorite excursions were recommended by the hotel staff!!

Bathroom small and difficult to manage water escaping from shower area. No dry area to place belongings whilst showering. Shower curtain was a bit of a nuisance. Kitchen area needs upgrade but this could be work in progress as others looked more contemporary in photos. No work surface available to prepare food.

Pretty pool area with lovely breakfast/snack menu at poolside terrace. Beds very comfortable and linens and towels changed regularly. Owner and family extremely helpful and gave great suggestions for beaches and restaurants to visit. We even had veggies from the garden.

Staying at the Elea Suites the past week was such a nice break from reality. The perfect weather combined with a large, clean pool made for some lazy, relaxing days... aka a key ingredient for a holiday. The best part of staying here is that you are staying at a genuinely well-run family hotel. The family is involved from the first minute of taking care of you, getting to know how they can help you have the holiday that you're seeking, and also serving tasty, homemade breakfasts in the morning. They were very kind and friendly anytime that we met. What I can say about the rooms is that they are well-equipped, comfortable and a very good value for the money. The hotel offers on-site parking and also a concierge service for taxis. My wife and I personally found the location of the hotel accommodating for the large majority of our daily needs, even just by walking. A few times we wanted to travel further we simply asked the family to set up a taxi for us and it was arranged with no effort.

Our apartment was located next to a busy road. So there is noise from passing cars when sitting on the balcony or sleeping with the windows open.

Great place to stay, run by a very friendly family. Clean and big swimming pool. Nice breakfast! Great value for your money.

The hosts have been wonderful. They checked our aiport pick up, welcomed us with a cold drink, organized a rental car within minutes and gave us some really nice recommendations for the island. They made our stay so easy to enjoy. The room was tidy, pool fresh, sea and taverns are in walking distance! 10/10

Wonderful hospitality! Welcome drink, friendly hosts & breakfast by Mariah was great (fresh eggs from the free range hens). Love the Scandinavian style furnishing and recommendation for a local dinner 5min by car. Away from the center, I enjoyed the quiet time compared to staying at Heraklion old town. 13min to Heraklion airport by car.
