It was a 20 minute walk to the beach - all up hill on the way back and on quite busy fast roads. Really needed to have transport to get the most from this property.

The kitchen didn't have basic things like olive oil or salt and even a cloth for cleaning the counter. The limitation of the pool to day time only was a bit annoying also.

We enjoyed the swimming pool a lot. The appartment was big and the rooms were perfectly sized. It was nice to have parking inside the court. The view was great.

There were a number of problems with missing or broken lights and also some wires sticking out of the wall, not with live ends though. There was also clearly an issue with damp (surprisingly) and the inside of the bedroom cupboards smelled quite strongly of it. The bathroom floor got wet, maybe the seal around the shower needs mending, or the water supply to the toilet was leaking, and there was a hole in the mosquito cover on the window. I would suggest the whole apartment needs some renovation to resolve these issues. We were out most of the time anyway.

Nice quiet location. Big apartment with a large wrap-around balcony and views of the sea and coastline. Lovely pool. Private parking. Set in an olive grove, as is everywhere, we had wild boar in the car park one night and a shepherd training a new puppy passing by one morning. House Martens and Swallows buzz the pool. The walk down into Stoupa isn't as long as some suggest. Once you reach the bottom of the hill, you cross the main road and turn right. It is only a short walk on the main road before you come to a one-way lane on your left, which winds down into the town and seafront. Air-con is in the two bedrooms, not the living room. There are sliding bug shields across the doors to the balcony, so you can have the doors open. The kitchen is quite basic, but we only really used the fridge and the kettle/toaster. Our host brought us some cake on the first day, which was nice, otherwise we weren't bothered by anyone. We were unsure where to park when we first arrived. You need to drive up the hill past the property and there is a little sign on your right and a dirt track leading down to the covered parking area. You can access the property from there through a side gate. If you want to explore north of Kalamata, e.g. Messene or Olympia, you always have a 50+ minute drive to get to Kalamata to start with. It is well worth heading south to explore the Mani though. You can access the other side of the mountains by heading south as well as north. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the Peloponnese in general. It's a beautiful part of the world.

Everything was fine. People that are very sensitive to noise might mind the street behind the house, as well as the quite active dog and a cock. But that is charming, too.

Very good location, central but not in the immediate business of (the very nice but naturally quite touristic) Stoupa, 10 mins walk. Beautifully set up, with a great pool which was only shared amongst the 4 resident parties. Functional (but also to some degree basic) and very clean apartments, spacious terrasses with a unique view into the garden/ pool and towards the sea. Perfect: the 100%-insect proof nets behind every windows and door so that you can air the appartment throughout and don't need the air-conditioning so much.

Everything! What a gem..fantastic apartment. Huge. One of four but nobody else there.Swallows nesting on our terrace . Great pool. It's the other side of the stoupa rd so very slightly out of town. Car needed for the unfit and infirm!! Such good value for money and the owner who we didn't meet promptly rang to let us know we'd left our passports behind She was informed by the excellent maid. Cannot praise it highly enough.

The location on booking was not the same location as the actual property. Beds were horribly hard- the worse I’m seen in Greece. No instructions as to where anything is, supplies or how anything works. Basically here’s the key and bye.

The property was not where it said it was - it said it was 200m from the beach. it was in fact 1.6km from the beach. it's ok as a property but not what we were after. the owner was either dishonest or reckless as to the location. and then hanged up on me on the phone while I tried to complain. I felt ripped off and left after 1 night (arrived late). they have refused to refund anything except 10%. I am now in legals with booking.com.

Friendly owners, even without English we communicated and received cake from Amalia. Many thanks.. Great place for families to chill after other adventures. Swimming pool, big clean appartment, huge terasse, view of the sea, parking. 5min drive to Fonesa beach, much nicer for us compared to crowdy Stoupa beach. 3min drive to Stoupa, where you have free parking. Beautiful place to stay and relax.

Not a single negative issue for us but would advise for anyone with mobility issues, that the walk from Stoupa to the property is up a steep hill and about fifteen minutes duration.

it is outstanding. great pool, spacious apartments and huge area round the pool. the owner hugely hospitable and the housekeeper fantastic. We have stayed here three times over a number of years and always had a great time. Very highly recommended.
