Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe wifi was really bad. It showed a strong signal but it took ages for things to load on our phones. We didn't like the prices at the tavern it was way too pricey. Also the buffet for the dinner was only ok. I wouldn't say I was really impressed. But it had a decent selection.
We liked that it really had everything you needed. We didn't feel like we had to leave to enjoy our stay. Altho we did do some exploring, if you're looking for a relaxing place to do nothing this is it. We also traveled with our small dog and this place was extremely dog friendly. We didn't feel like we had to keep her away from certain areas. The staff was welcoming to her and nearly every guest knew her by name by the end of our stay. Also the place looks exactly like the photos. So if that's a concern you're good to go.

United KingdomPaying for beach towels seems a tad mean. The hotel may consider a timely local transfer service to Corfu Old Town for a minimal fee to assist guests who wish to visit.
The staff went beyond normal expectations. The reception staff are the best I have ever come across. Nothing was too much to ask. Exceptional service all around. The food and beverage stations are excellent value for money and the quality of produce was very good indeed.

United States of AmericaIt was 35-40 minutes to downtown Kerkyra, but definitely accessible.
Fantastic Location (right on the beach), great staff, entertainment every night (if you wanted to stay-in), things to do in the area, great taverna, the “Firefly” right next to the property, great massages! Great for younger children, and the elderly, if you’re looking for late night dancing/raves etc, look closer to town. This is a fantastic, serene location, right on the beach for chillin.

HungaryOne thing to be careful of is that if you accidentally don't add your child when making the reservation here on Booking.com, although it was advertised as children under 16 yo. stay free, you will be charged €30 / day at the hotel. This happened to me with my 7 yo. daughter.
The location and size of the hotel is superb, the breakfast and dinner are varied and plentiful. The restaurant is in an annexe 2 min walk from the main building. The beach was not crowded, the garden and pool were tidy and well maintained. The water and the beach are beautiful.

AlbaniaThere were some hotel rules like you couldn't use the pool after a certain hour, you couldn't use the sunbeds in the beach after 19:30, so it felt like a camp. Also we had an unpleasant episode where the gardener rudely asked us to leave the sunbeds because he had to take and lock them. I asked why do you have to take and lock them and he said because someone could steal the sunbeds! The nearby hotels left them at the beach. It felt like it wasn't a client focused attitude.
Nice hotel with nice garden around, quiet and relaxing. Very suitable for families and children.

United KingdomBedrooms in the block outside main hotel building rather cramped, but they were clean and I didn’t spend much time in room so all ok. Much nicer rooms in main hotel - hence the deluxe price tag on those.
Gardens were well cared for, proximity to the beach was great. From grass to beautiful clear sea in a few paces. Hotel newly refurbished.

United KingdomThe usual fight for beachloungers!! We were surrounded at one point by a family who couldn't have got closer if they tried!!
Good beach particulalry for children although because it is a shallow sandy bay, the water was not that refreshing and will be even warmer in the the hotter months. Facilities were satisfactory if not exciting. Food was reasonable but it is canteen eating.

United KingdomThe restuarant itself was more like a cafeteria - 2 sittings - only an hour and a quarter to eat and 'enjoy' the meal. A somewhat frenetic atmosphere. It was a large area with many tables and chairs. I felt that for a four star hotel, dirty plates etc. should not be stacked up on a trolley until full and then wheeled past your table to the kitchen. There was nowhere in the main hotel building to have a coffee or a pre/post-dinner drink, despite there being more than enough space in the lounge area. These were only available in the beach bar. I do not expect to have to pay to have my beach towel to be laundered in a four star hotel. 2 Euros was kept from the 'deposit' - why not say that a charge will be made for laundering? No tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom, nor complimentary water. (These was given to us in a three star hotel in Corfu town). The bath did not drain properly; the water came up through the grating in the floor, despite the problem having been 'seen to'. Toiletries were minimal - shower soap dispenser unreachable on the wall if you chose to have a bath.
All the staff were delightful. Anti Covid precautions were good - residents reminded if they did not wear masks indoors or masks and gloves when attending the buffet. Our room was delightfully decorated and furnished, as was the main hotel communal areas. The food, although a buffet, gave excellent choice and was of good quality. The beach was narrow, but well supplied with parasols and loungers. The latter could be taken to the large grassy areas adjacent to the beach.

RussiaWe would like to see slippers and bathrobes, the soundproof could be better (this is not critical).
The hotel located just by the sea, it takes you 1 minute to get to the seashore, but it’s a little bit far away from the Corfu town centre (20-30mins). The room was clean everyday. We stayed on a half-board, the food was good, not exceptional but it is a good value if you don’t want to spend too much money on the restaurants. The personal was very kind and responsive! You can find many restaurants and taverns within walking distance, also we counted 3 car rental services nearby.

SerbiaOnly 2 available power sockets in the room for 3 people with all our gadgets are very inconvenient. Although there are enough parking lots, there is not a single charger for EV nor a single power socket available in the entire hotel, where I could charge my PHEV with my own cable. As one day I was parked near some high grass , front part of my car was full with ants and it took me 3 days to exterminate them completely. Moraitika area is pretty ugly place and the good thing is this hotel stands out from the surrounding area and it is sort of isolated from the rest of the area. Some of the waiters are nice and friendly, but for several of them, politeness is not priority on the list.
Hotel is located on a small own beach, and occupy wide park area with very nicely decorated garden. Beach itself is small, and if you want to have umbrella and sunbeds on the beach, or in the shade in the park, you need to wake up early and occupy it. Pebbles in the beach are rather sharp and you need slippers to and out the water. When you enter the water, first few meters are covered with small rocks and need to be careful, but everything further is covered with sand and it is very nice for everything you want to do in the water. Water in this area is very calm, pretty warm, and there are no waves or wind, even when on the opposite side of the island, water is very cold and pretty windy. Rooms are sort of basic with little bit outdated furniture, but still acceptable. It's clean and terrace is nice. We had "pool view" room but you can still have the sea view from there. Food is OK, with very nice selection of sweets.

LatviaSpecial request on early check in was not possible, though confirmed by the property. We had to spend 1.5 hours waiting for the room to be prepared. Communication on the plan change has to be improved. Room we lived in was a bit dated. Specifically - bathroom. We had an issue with plumbing, which was solved fairly quickly, but still this is something to dislike. A nice to have thing would be to move the fitness room outside, like it is in a neighbouring hotel.
Location is top. If you check the map to see the road coming all the way from Kerkyra airport to the south along the estern coast of Corfu, where the hotel is located. For most of the hotels the road divides private hotel territories from hotel awarded beaches. This is not the case with Delfinia. It's private territory, which is green and lawny flows into the hotel's awarded beach smoothly. This was a key factor for me choosing this hotel. Other things are admirable as well, such as breakfast with plenty of choices, beach bar and a little tavern to have a quick lunch while wearing your beach trunks. Plus to that the hotel has private parking lot and tennis court - both are available free of charge!
