Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomHad a shocking experience trying to book the restaurants, the app doesn't work properly, and we wanted the Asian as we'd taken mum here for her 80th Birthday present, for 4 nights, but despite constant trips to reception daily it was never resolved. On final day they offered the Rose fine dining but wish we'd stuck with the buffet. This just spoilt what was otherwise a lovely stay, they have to sort this out. This is OK but definitely too small for busy season. And shocked to find the gym didn't open until 10am as its inside the spa, not good at all, they get around this advertising an outdoor gym too but weather worn ropes, few bikes that didn't work, dodgy weights on rough decking - again this needs sorting out. Great shame these two problems would stop me returning here.
Very beautifully set out, great beach bar and food. Staff really helpful and bedrooms pleasant and roomy. Fabulous pool and loungers.

United KingdomPools were a bit cold; they should consider heating up the pools a little for ideal pool experience.
We had booked poolside family bunglow. It had 2 spacious rooms with a connecting terrace in both rooms with a sofa set and 2 sun loungers. We are vegan/vegetarian and surprisingly all meals had plenty of options. All-Inclusive Drinks have premium brands included. Beach bar right on the beach with ton of super comfortable sun beds.

NetherlandsOften long waiting line at the beach bar. Also drinks often took long (or were forgotten) in the hotel bar and restaurant. As there is no self service for basic drinks, compared to other hotel we stayed, faster service could be expected in this area I think.
The rooms were very nice and clean. Comfortable beds and nice place up a small stairs for the children to sleep. Beautiful pool, okay kids pool and nice beach area. Also food and drinks were of good quality. Overall very nice place to stay.

The hotel is directly on the beach, no crossing roads. There is a nice beach bar. The staff is very friendly and the food is very nice. The bus stop to Rodos city is right in front of the hotel.

United KingdomThe cocktails and drinks were all included but not always consistently made from one round to the next. Pillows were a bit lumpy. And we weren’t able to look in a couple of rooms that our wedding party had booked for next year. But aside from that it was a lovely stay.
Beautiful pool, beach and decor. Staff were polite and attentive and food was good. After getting there at 11.30pm it was good to be offered food, even if it was just snack. We stayed for just 2 nights as a recce as we are returning next year for our wedding week.

BulgariaOur room was above the main street so it was quite noisy even during the nights. There were ants in the room nevertheless we were on the 4th floor (our friends were in the other part of the hotel and had no such issues). The water in the pools was a bit cold all the time eventhough the weather was around 30C. There is no children playground (like swings and slides) around the hotel only a child club but it was not suitable for us as the children did not speak greek or english.
The hotel is next to the beach and the staff is very polite and helpful. The restaurant and the beach bar offer wide variety of dishes for every taste. The pools are quite big and there are 2 waterslides for the children. The green area in the hotel yard is great for walks in the evenings. There is a souvenirs market just next to the property.

United KingdomOur room was very outdated, would say it was a 3 star at most. The handle would fall of the adjoining door between the two bedrooms in our room, and the shower head didn’t attach to the wall so you could stand under it, you had to hold it. Not enough sun beds around the main pool so was difficult to get a sun bed and they are very strict with reserving the beds with towels. Staff a bit slow in getting you your drinks, it could take some time. Found some to be argumentative at times. They serve crepes in the day, as a group of 6, 3 of us went to get them and the staff member was not happy at all and wanted to give us crepes from a batch that had been made earlier in the day and just warm them up but they were burnt and asked for fresh ones and she argued with us about it. Also can be windy there and as one guests umbrella landed in the pool they made everyone else put them done for safety which i can under but as someone who burns within 10 minutes of being in the sun it meant i would have had to have gone and sat inside, A Stayed in a Grecotel a couple of months prior which is why we chose a Grecotel again but the Lux Dama Dama was not up to the standards of the one in Crete. Asked to speak to the manager for a solution, one person came and told me it had to go down and when i asked where do i and others get shade from otherwise my skin will burn he didn’t have a solution, went away and never came back.
Very clean. Food was lovely, except the Asian restaurant was variable, where 3 of us had the beef dish which first came out cold and then when it came out again it was very salty so they couldn’t eat it. The crispy duck was nice but you can’t really go wrong with that.

SwitzerlandThe check-in process was a bit all over the place. People in different uniforms tell you to wait at different places. The welcome drink arrived after 20 min when we were actually checked-in and ready to go to our room. Most drinks were watery, which is to be expected probably from an all inclusive hotel, but still.
The best part for me was the massage next to the beach. It was not included in the overall price, but worth it. Look for Marina

Palestinian TerritoryThe sun beds on the pool are not enough and these get booked by people in early morning so by the time you get to the pool it is a real challenge to find a place.
Very good value for money. Good location in Faliraki just in the beach and easy access to other locations using public transport. Staff are very nice and very professional and happy to support and help. Facilities are good and you do not get a feeling on facilities being crowded. Good food though much Pork, which I do not eat.

NorwayWe where very disappointed with booking.com who sold us an upgrade of a two double bed room, which do not exist as a room-category at the Grecotel Dama Dama hotel unless you book a bungalow. This was not the Hotels fault, however poor communication between parties. The Greek ala carte restaurant was unfortunately a disappointment and we should have chosen the buffet instead, for more options. Was missing some turkey and meat toppings during breakfast.
The Hotel is fantastic, the people working there is very friendly and service minded. Hotel pool amazing and hotel is on the beach which provide you with both options. Asiana and Italian restaurants has amazing food, the buffet is ok, they always provide some child-friendly options. Remember to book the a la carte restaurants immediately as they fill up fast. Lunch by the Beach bar was also really nice. Easy bus- to Rhodes city just outside the hotel. Would definitely go back again.

HungaryThe bed in our room was uncomfortable. At 7 am, you barely find any free sunbeds at the pool. When we arrived 11 to the beach we could not find any free sunbeds there either, while you could see that lot of them were just reserved with a towel and the staff didn't do anything about it, the hotel doesn't have a policy for this problem (unlike other Grecotels in different islands). Serving drinks at the restaurant is very slow.
Location was great and the room was large and clean. Generally staff are really nice and helpful.

IsraelNothing to say here :)
The hotel staff is most welcoming, assisting, and hospitalizing as one can be. the all-inclusive dining options are great, you have something to eat and drink all day long which allows a lot of flexibility in your day. the facilities were clean, maintained, and available all day long. There are 3 a-la-carte restaurants at the hotel, and I would strongly recommend Cafe Italia and the hotel wine selection.

CyprusThe room was below average. Furniture was minimal, no outlets next the bed, a faulty beside lamp, the drain in the shower was broken so would slip off whenever used, leaving a large hole in the floor of the shower. Also, there were no privacy curtains so you either had to have the windows completely exposed or use the black-out curtain which seemed like an oversight. The spa should be avoided, I wouldn’t expect a hotel spa to be of the standard of a normal spa, however I was really disappointed with my ‘facial’. to begin with, they didn’t know what me and my husband were booked in for, they assumed we were both there for a massage. my face was cleansed and scrubbed within 10 minutes and then I spent the remained of the hour with a mask on my face while my hair was played with, then braided and then the spa lady gave the most unwilling/awkward head massage I’ve ever experienced. it was strange to say the least! The outdoor spa experience was interesting, but unfortunately can’t control the weather (very windy) or if there are upset children nearby. not worth the money!
the hotel has a great location, very easy to access most major sites via the local bus routes. the gardens, beach and pool area were all very well maintained. The food was varied and always available, the gelato and crepe stand was a bonus and the staff were always friendly and hard working!

United KingdomService standards are not to the standard expected for the price you pay! Wrong wine served, no water glasses/ desert spoons provided , having to queue for plates before being able to get your dinner, all things you shouldn’t have to put up with for the price. A la carte restaurants were a let down, especially the Greek restaurant, but no different to our last visit. The Asian restaurant food was far better but service again let it down. Main course served before all starters served!! Sunbeds impossible to get unless you are up at 7am, rule not enforced re towels being removed after 30 mins if beds not used! A pity little things spoil what was a very good hotel but standards should be much higher for the price you pay.
Main bar service and choice of drinks excellent. Food in buffet restaurant excellent quality. Beds very large and comfy. Reception staff friendly and very helpful.
