The drinks in the bar could be better and sometimes I wish we had more options in terms of snacks - only sandwich and donuts were offered in the pool bar. I missed toiletries in the room, maybe it would be a great addition.

The staff is super helpful. Do not hesitate to reach out to them if needed. Room is great and the bathroom is nice, pretty comfortable. Pool is great but we we not in the peak season, when I believe the number of chairs is not enough for everyone. Food is good, but we were expecting more Greek cuisine - they most likely make it general so it pleases more guests. The Vegghera restaurant has ok food, if you miss the chance of eating there, you are not missing much!

I think it isn't a hotel for young couples, because of the animation program and the whole vibe. Also the afternoon snacks almost non-existent

The staff is super friendly and speaks, besides English, French, German and Spanish. Our room was amazing: big and very modern (the light switches were electronic / touch). The food was good but it could have more variety thoughout the days.

We took advantage of beach bar above the lagoon for drinks such as frappé, cola, lemonade and beer, but missed an offer of fruit or vegetable bowls or salads or some simple dishes (here there were just some sandwiches or pastries). There is a great offer of these for b´fast and dinner, but some would be appreciated at the beach bar also during the day.

Resort stretched within well kept beautiful mediterranean garden with big variety of palms, trees, bushes and flowers. We chose one of sheltered lagoons for perfect sea swim in calm water. One could also swim out into the unsheltered area and enjoy floating in the waves or snorkelling as some guests did. Free sunbeds and umbrellas available on the beach. Nice pools which we didn´t take advantage of though as we prefer the sea. Friendly staff and tasty food for breakfasts and dinners, for these with daily varied offer. We enjoyed a relaxing week at sea.

1. lack of sand beach - only with stones 2. Parking located too far from the entrance (for my point of view). Need to dropp off luggedge, then re-park a car and then return back again to make a check-in. The same during checkout 3. When I checked-in to my room, I found out that there is a jacuzzi inside, but it doesn't work. When I came to the reception, they said that its activation will take a lot of time (about the whole night). And because I stayed only for 2 nights, it didn't make sence - but if I could know about this option beforehand, I would agree to pay extra 52 euro to have it activated when I checked-in to the room 4. No anti-moskito net on balcony door or repellent inside the room 5. Bodyguard in main pool doesn't speak english at all 6. Towel station works very short period of time with a break for lunch

Traveling by car, the directions could have been more clear as the facility was outside Rethymnon. Also the car park was some distance away and not easily accessable

Bad first impression arriving with car: no signs (put indications like the market did), small parking outside (not allow to enter the car) and long walking with luggage until reception… It took forever to do the check in (why they don’t use the info from Booking reservation?) and many mistakes with the credit card were done… Only small bottles of sparkling water are available …

Beautiful view of the sea, the gardens and the room. Great towels and unexpected toiletries. Most of the staff is very friendly.

We spend part of our honeymoon at Iberostar Creta Marine.. and we were amased. The property is very beautiful and clean, the food is good, the staff speak English, French an German so fluent, some of them also speak italian, spanish, ukranian. Entertainment is great. Nastya, Ganni, Rafa, Assya, Fabiola - they are all super cool. Animatiin is the heart of the hotel, making it different from the other brands.

The bar in the Creta Marine would function much better in the evening if the lights were dimmed / lessened to create a more relaxing environment. Having high light levels doesn't support the function of the bar at this time. It would also then relate better to the external terrace area and be more cohesive and appropriate. The separation of the Panorama from the Marine seems a little artificial. Flexibility between the two 'sister' facilities would make more sense. Reasons given were regarding Covid restrictions, but this didn't really make sense. Not a major issue and may be driven by other factors not understood. Small point - the main general shop in the Creta Marine seems to be missing an opportunity to be better and more comprehensively stocked. It has a captive audience but felt slightly 'skeletal' in its offer.

The whole place is exceptional in quality, service. look and feel. Excellent variety and quality of food. Terrific facilities and landscaped surroundings, easy to navigate and lots of choice (pools/beaches/etc). We were upgraded to the 'Presidential Suite' from 2 Waterfront bungalows - hugely appreciated. Its one of the best resorts we've (parents + two children (16/21)) ever visited. Of special note, the Animation team are incredibly professional, hard working and seriously talented. The Animation evening entertainment in the Theatre was also of a really high standard, far exceeding other similar events. Non 'Animation' / 'external' shows were far less successful however. The onsite Animation team should be cherished.

Awful hairdryer. Doesn’t work at all, most annoying that there is no power socket in a bathroom so it’s impossible to use your own hairdryer as well.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. We do not like having a shower over the bath, it is not safe stepping in and out . Water ran hot and cold intermittently.

This is a quiet location with not much of interest in the area, but there is plenty to do in the hotel/resort. It covers a large area with lovely gardens and grounds. The buffet food was very good.

Beds are a bit hard for us.

We always like the service. Front desk was very helpful when I came in with a broken finger from a fall earlier in the day. They called the medical center and put the GPS directions into our phone. This was a big help. By the way, my fall happened elsewhere ... not at the resort.

Location is about 15 mins drive outside Rethymno and there is not much around hotel. If you want to explore you have to have a car or book your trips. There is a bus service outside to get into town.

Food is really good here. We didnt go all inclusive, just breakfast and dinner but it was excellent. This is a very nice hotel and its kept spotlessly clean.

I understand that it is Covid season but accessibility to bottled water, after 00:00 was difficult. After dinner, going for a walk, you're limited almost to come back much earlier so that you can take water from the bar or restaurant. A few times it happened to me that we had no water and not even the staff at the reception were not able to give me any, because the bar was closed.

Location of the hotel is an hour away from airports in Chania and Heraklion. Finding your way to the hotel is quite easy. Locals will easily help you find the right buses and they are very cheap. Staff was amazing at this hotel. There was not one staff member who was not friendly to us. Beaches were wonderful and the hotel does not charge extra for the sunbeds. Food was also amazing and they do offer 3 different restaurants at the hotel. All of them are free for all inclusive. The main restaurant is a buffet while the other two are more exclusive and a must visit if you reserve them on time. Just the breakfast is quite repetitive. I have very little negatives to say about our stay at this hotel. Main thing for us was to manage to relax, do different activities and meet new people. And all three were checked even after the first few days of our stay. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and I will certainly be back.
