Just returned from a short stay at Poseidon - the room was comfortable and clean, the location was perfect, the staff were all friendly and helpful and the food in the taverna was delicious and good value.

Great location in a quiet sea town, with a magnificent view on the marina and the island (including Ithaka). Even though we visited Kefalonia on (probably) the most rainy day of the year, we had a great stay. The room is very spacious and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and offers a great breakfast with local food in the restaurant downstairs. Parking in the street is easy enough, and from here you can easily drive to any location on the island. The town itself has plenty of shops and restaurants.

Breakfast was varied daily and always excellent .The apartment is in a prime location with great views over the harbour and towards the island of Ithaca. Couldn't have asked for better.

The view from the balcony was really beautiful. The staff was simply amazing. Super kind and helpful. The restaurant downstairs is very good. Food was amazing.

By a busy main road but this wasn’t really a problem for us.

Excellent location and fantastic sea view. Generous hospitality and friendliness of the staff and owner. Restaurant also serves excellent food. They also arranged car hire for us that was much cheaper and more convenient than if we’d booked with one of the big companies.

The smell coming from the restaurant beneth the rooms. Insufficient cluttery in the apt. The noise in the evening beacuse the apt is next to the street.

Location of the property is great. And the sea view is breathtaking.

Bed was not very comfortable with the springs poking you, but everything else was great.

The staff were amazing and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic and we also chose to have dinner at the restaurant two nights in a row because it was so delicious. Good location for visiting other beaches close by. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

A small but chic family hotel, perfect location, great value for money, friendly staff, good food, beautiful rooms and comfortable beds. Even if we booked a room with no sea view, the owner gave us an upgrade and got one with a stunning view of the gulf, not to mention we checked in at 10am so we could enjoy the whole day at the beach . The breakfast was amazing, for all tastes. We also had dinner twice at hotel restaurant, probably the best cooked fish on the island. The family that runs it is very friendly amd careful at tourists needs, the perfect example of greek hospitality. We totally recommmend this hotel as it exceeded by far our expectations and we will come back!

The location was idyllic, on the waterfront at Agia Efimia and with spectacular views of the harbour, bay and mountains from balconies. Daily cleaning and fresh towels were provided and rooms were kept very clean. A llovely breakfast was provided, including a selection of pastries, bread. jam, honey, Greek yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, feta and tomato bruschetta, fried eggs. hot and cold drinks. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The busy restaurant also provided excellent food in the evenings and was the best restaurant we visited in that area in our week there, as well as having the best location.

Location is excellent and host is fantastic and welcoming as are all the staff working there. Spacious room overlooking the ocean and really comfortable bed. Agia Efimia is a small town with a beautiful port and coastline and very near to so many must see places in Kefalonia including Melisani Lake and caves, Myrtos beach, Assos and Fiskardo. There is a beach just 25 metres or so from Poseidon as well as many others a little walk away - just be aware that Kefalonian beaches are pebbled so great idea to pack wet shoes. Poseidon also has a restaurant on the waterfront opposite the hotel - we loved eating there - perfect location, great food, reasonably priced, and great people working there. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Greek filoxenia at its best!

A lovely Greek family run business in a brilliant location within the port (the property photo does not do the property justice at all). The apartment had a traditional Greek room feel to it, but with a nice modern bathroom, white walls and furniture etc. And brilliant views from the balcony; among the best views in Greece from our dual aspect balcony. The Poseidon taverna served great Greek food, including in a busy waterfront outside dining area overlooking the sea.

Just be aware there is no lift and potentially quite a few stairs depending on your room. BUT the people that work there are lovely and helpful if you can’t manage. Also in the self contained apartments there was no dish soap or plug provided if you need to wash up in the sink.

The location is amazing!! The staff are so helpful and breakfast daily was included. Honestly this side of kefalonia is so beautiful and to base yourself here in Agia efimia, especially with a family is such a good choice. Parking is super easy with the marina across the road and there is a great supermarket and restaurants. The rooms we had were fantastic and overlooked the marina. The beds comfy, plentiful hot water and great aircon. My son fell in love with a lovely older lady who to this day he asks for ‘yaya’. It was such a great experience

Location and views from the balcony are outstanding. We not only stayed here but had a great evening meal, (prawns were delicious) and rented a car. Breakfast was great too. All staff were super friendly. An excellent experience and would greatly recommend
