Our group didn’t have a car so the location was sometimes a little tricky, however, for a group of 4, taxis were affordable and there was a bus stop not too far off. The supermarket and bus stop were about 10 mins walk and the nearest organised beach was about a 20 min walk. You can walk to a beach at the bottom of the resort but it’s small and it had lots of seaweed on it when we were there. If you have a car then the location is no issue. Our apartment could have used a few more basic cooking items, such as a chopping board and a tea towel for example. We arrived at the time we specified but nobody was at reception (front door was locked) and nobody responded when we pressed the doorbell. We had to wander the property to find out that reception is never open and you need to check in at the pool bar. It would have been good to know this prior as this sort of thing can be frustrating after a long travel day. Not a criticism, but good to be aware of: our ground floor apartment didn’t have much of a view. This was reflected in the price we paid. If you want a balcony with an ocean view, make sure to choose the right apartment.

The pool. If you want to have a relaxing holiday where you spend a lot of time by the pool, this is the place for you. The pool is huge and there are heaps of loungers available around it. There is a pool bar open during the day and they serve simple meals and snacks as well as cocktails. You are also allowed to bring your own food and drinks poolside. Beautiful view of the pool from the beach. Our 2 bedroom apartment was huge and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were made over every day and everything is kept very clean. The staff were very responsive to requests. It’s a 5-10 min drive into town and the taxi was usually 8 Euros.

Pool was fantastic, great location for a quiet holiday. A little far away from main town however taxis are cheap (approx 8-12€ each way). There is nearby town which is a 20 min walk and has a couple nice restaurants/bars.

It was a beautiful place however it was in the middle of nowhere. However if you are willing to get a taxi/drive it is fine. The bar by the pool wasn’t open during the day which was a shame but this is most likely because we came during May.

The pool was our favourite feature it was huge and most of the time we had it to ourselves. The room was large with a kitchen and lounge area which was a nice treat. The balcony was also big with a lovely view of the sea. Breakfast was nice although not necessarily a massive variety of choice.

The location of the hotel is perfect. All staff was polite and friendly. Even though we stayed there one week before they were closing for the season every one was great. Marvelous view from the room balcony and swimming pool. Great swimming pool with bar/snack services. Very clean. Definetely will stay again.

It's a bit out (€8 in a taxi each way) so having your own transport would be better. WiFi is patchy (but that's across the island so not the resorts fault)

Brilliant staff, immaculately clean and an amazing pool (biggest on the island). Breakfast is very, very good. Would highly recommend Sunrise Suites!!

The place is a bit far from nice beaches - you need to walk about 20 minutes to Azolimnos beach where there is also a bus stop. There is no restaurant at the place but you can order a sandwich, a pizza, or some snacks and drinks at the pool.

The room was nice even if it wasn't anything I'd call special - we had all we needed for our stay. The view was great and you can really experience the sunrise if you get up early. The staff was very helpful and helped us have a great stay. Also the swimming pool is a nice place to relax and the breakfast was good.

The only unpleasant part of our stay was the fact that we were not offered the appropriate service for our suitcases. my family and I were obliged to carry our 3 large suitcases up 2 flights of stairs in a 36 degree heat. This is something quite unacceptable

the wifi didn’t really work in our bedroom but for us that wasn’t much of an issue but if you wanted to work in your room it could cause some problems. it worked great around the pool area though!

We absolutely loved our stay. The room was so spacious and the outdoor area had an amazing view. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The best part was the pool area, it is amazing!

Wasn’t much kitchen equipment, chose this accommodation partly because it had kitchen facilities but as soon as we asked the staff they delivered what we needed to our apartment straight away.

Great sea views, accommodation was very clean and staff were very helpful and attentive. Towels changed and beds made daily which we were not expecting. Pool was amazing and not too busy and there are some really lovely seating areas with great views. Location on island was great too, close to main town of Ermoupolis, we had a car so could also explore rest of the island.

The only negative would be that if you don't have a vehicle, the nearest town is a 20 minute walk up/down a steep hill, which can be challenging especially in the heat. We also had trouble connecting to the wifi in certain areas by the pool and our room.

I'm extremely happy with my stay here! The staff was so welcoming and nice. The pool was incredible and the views were spectacular! Christina at the bar was very nice and made us amazing drinks and food. Breakfast had a variety of options. The room was spacious, clean and our balcony had a great view also! We felt like this was paradise.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunrise Beach Suites. I don’t even know where to start… The location is perfect, such a quiet area, with AMAZING views with the most beautiful sunrises from our veranda. You can see the lighthouse on the islet Didimi (btw this is the first lighthouse in the Aegean with rotating mechanism and it was funded by the state in the period of King Otto). The room was beautiful and so comfortable, spacious and equipped with everything you’d need. The swimming pool was just perfect, with a small pool for our little boy. Not too busy, some of the days were actually very quiet. We loved it. a few very nice beaches near by, 3-5 min drive. Distance to town center was about 7-8 min drive. Absolutely amazing island, great views from Ano Syros. We loved it!!!! And last but not least, the staff were great! So polite, helpful, lovely. Biggest THANK YOU to Jiota, Irini, Christina, and all those we didn’t meet for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We just wish we stayed longer! But of course, we will be back hopefully next year ☺️.

We loved this hotel. It was in a quiet location but only ten minutes drive (8 euro taxi ride) from Ermoupoli and easy to get taxis to beaches around the island. Our room was a good size, with nice kitchenette and balcony with views of the pool/coast. The pool was big and we were always able to find a sunbed or chairs. The hotel staff are amazing, whether serving us at the bar, preparing good breakfasts, ordering us taxis etc. We'd really recommend this hotel.
