Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

NorwayWhat we did not know and what would have been good to know in advance, is that this is an all inclusive hotel and everything is build around that. This means that all meals are buffet style and although you can pay for one meal at the time, it is not possible to just have one dish like a salad in any of the restaurants. The food is really good so this was not a problem for us but it meant that every meal was a big meal. This variety of drinks however is very limited, especially when it comes to wine. The pool areas are really nice and best suited for older children as the pools have little shade. There were few playgrounds on the premises for younger children. So in my opinion this hotel is best suited for children 8 years+ We had a car and explored the island and went into the old town. The hotel is well located for this. There are a few restaurants in the proximity of the hotel that were very good. The beach at the hotel is very good for snorkeling! But bring bathing shoes as it's quite rockey.

United KingdomWe arrived late at night because our flight was delayed... We went to check and the night, and the manager told us we had to pay a €20 euro tax payment before we could be shown to our room! After booking online & paying nearly €2,400 just to stay there for 5 nights, that was an absolute joke, to be honest! I couldn't be bothered arguing as it was 12.30am, so I gave him the money.......for a 5 star rating hotel, our room could have been a bit cleaner......the patio area outside was dirty & the sun lounger were grubby, the sofa bed had big stains on it & the room had a lot of ants......we had to ask the cleaning staff to mop outside & clean the loungers......as we had a garden room we had a lot of ant's in the room & bathroom....we had ask them to get rid of them but they just came back everyday.....maybe some ant traps outside & inside would solve the problem! We were there as a couple & had 2 single beds pushed together.....so cuddling in the middle & anything else's was difficult as they just kept coming apart & you would fall into the middle of the floor.....all the staff were nice except the girl in the wine & champagne bar.....she was so rude, never smiled or said hello....she just slapped the drinks on the bar & went back to typing on her phone.......my beer had more head than beer in it...she clearly needs some training on customer service tips! Also, if you tip the staff/ cleaners, they are so much nicer as opposed to when you don't... money makes them much nicer & they go out their way for you the next time you need something, especially the cleaners
The location was ideal, its big hotel with plenty of space to walk around the grounds with pools, bars, restaurants, shop & a private beach....you don't need to leave the property...you can just relax & enjoy yourself there, unless you want to visit the town or another area in Rhodes....most of the staff were nice & helpful......we had a room with a private pool...it was amazing due to the 35 - 38 degrees heat....as we had this type of room we were entitled to an exceptional special private served breakfast every morning instead of cueing at a the buffet breakfast! It's definitely worth upgrading from a standard room to a suite with a pool to get this! The lunch buffet is great & you can get all kinds of snacks if you have room after breakfast......the buffet dinner was surprisingly very good standards, the food was always hot & freshly made.....different theme every night & some of the dishes were so tasty 😋.....there was so much choice....it would be hard not find something you like, including salads, fruit & desserts.

United KingdomFor a 5 star hotel, the service could have been better and staff should be more prepared. Some of them were also not friendly. When the restaurant was busy, we often were left waiting until be served with drinks or coffee, sometimes for about 30min. We also got an advanced confirmation for a late checkout when we booked the hotel. However, when we arrived at the hotel the staff told us that the late checkout was actually never confirmed and we needed to wait until 24h of our last day to check the possibility of the late checkout.
The food was really good, the private beach is beautiful and the hotel was all the time super clean.

GreeceThe room not have a heater and it was little cold at the evening. Also the bathroom didn't have a Sampo at the shower area but it was available at the jacuzzi. The firniture at the room also is not for a 5 star hotel. We had a complimentary wine and we thank you for this but the glasses staid to the room dirty until we left. This is not good for 5 star hotel 😔
The place is very nice, the staff at the reception and breakfast area were very polite and helpful.

United Kingdom1) The hotel does not provide an iron & ironing board for you to use, either in the room or in a laundry room. They charge a 5 euro fee per item to iron! I thought this was crazy, since every hotel I travel to always provides an iron for me to use. It's not good value for money and I think the hotel needs to provide irons for guests to use for free. I was not impressed with this. 2) The hotel room was quite noisy because the soundproofing was not the best. In particular my room door allowed a lot of sound to travel through from the outside corridor. This was especially a problem in the morning because the housekeeping (who were very efficient) were very noisy at 8:30am - 10:30am starting to make up rooms at this time. This would not be a problem but they (2 ladies) would talk very loudly to each other at this time and also shout across to each other at this time. I could hear all this in my room at that time. For a resort which is about relaxing, and attracts guests who need to relax, they need to stop this loud talking because sometimes guests are still sleeping at this time; it was very noisy to listen to/wake up to. I also had them knocking at by door before 10:30am, which is too early I think. 3) The food is sometimes not so good at the restaurants. I ate at Fosa (which was not very impressive) and also Gaia, and found that the Greek night food was very good at Gaia, but the international themed nights were not so good. I preferred going to the nearby Tavernas for dinner, because it was better value and more delicious food. 4) Gaia (the main restaurant) closed too early in the evening (9:30pm) and in the morning (10am). This was a problem because if you arrive 30 minutes before these times, and you were relaxing and eating your food/enjoying your coffee/drinks, the staff would be hurrying people to leave because it was closing. 5) They offer drinks in the day in disposable cups, creating a lot of waste.
I liked the location of the resort because it was next to the sea and in a relatively quiet area. It was next to a main road with good access to busses and you can easily get to nearby towns, including Rodos. There were also quite a few nice tavernas only 15 / 20 minute walk away, which I really enjoyed eating at during some lunchtimes or evenings. I highly recommend the Fishing Port Tavern at Kavourakia Beach next door, and also the Ouzokamomata Greek Tapas restaurant 20 minute walk away in Kallithea. The resort has its own private beach which was very good for swimming in the sea. It was a rocky, pebbly beach area so not good if you want lush soft sand. There was a very good freshwater shower at the private beach also. My bedroom was very spacious, very clean (the whole resort is very clean) and light. I cannot fault the housekeeping there! The balcony was also very spacious and had a lovely view of the sea and the distant hills of Turkey. The bathroom was very good with a good shower. The restaurants & room service is very efficient. I went there to relax and switch off and by and large, I was satisfied with my stay. I am sure there are better resorts to go, if your budget allows, but for a reasonably priced place this is a decent stay.

Czech RepublicToo pricey lunches and dinners in hotel restaurants, however, paying for quality. We would welcome also anything on the middle price level and not eating "all-inclusive". The nearest beach is a little bit away from the main area.
We like that the whole resort was like a city standing on its own. There are a lot of action corners, on the other hand, there is still a lot of free space to build something new. We would welcome, for example, a greater mini golf area, and outdoor yoga/pilates/workout sessions. The breakfast buffet was on a high level. A great portfolio of pools with a nice sea view. Earlier check-in was possible in our case.
