We stayed in a lovely, spacious apartment comprised of two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and located right beside the pool. It had a beautiful, private terrace, perfect for peaceful breakfasts, that was accessed from the kitchen via a large glass door that let in lots of light. Each bedroom had two very comfortable beds. The powershowers were great after a day on the beach. The views from the hotel over Stalis towards the sea were stunning and the planting around the hotel was delightful and enhanced its appearance. The hotel was very close to all local amenities and the lovely beach. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris, who was an excellent and helpful host.

The location gives access to many places however be aware that if Malia/hersonisos is not your type of night-out, other destinations are 20-30' away with car.

Group of 6. The room had ample space. Used the pool while waiting for my turn to shower which was really relaxing. Had some parking space outside.

10 min away from the beach, quiet location, very clean. The appartment is well equiped, you can cook your meals at home if you want . It also have an ironing station (with a mini table and iron machine). The staff is very friendly. The swimmingpool was open till 8 a'clock and that was great for the kids. The rooms we stayed in was very large. We also had a big terrace where we could sit.

The room was a little dank/damp - there was a bad smell from the bathroom drain and the bedroom was a bit dark inside. It was also a bit noisy at night with people coming in and stopping outside the door and talking.

Overall we had an excellent stay. We appreciated the friendly reception and the lovely pool!

We liked everything: location, view from apartments, the size of apartments!!! In general apartments are very comfortable and spacious. And Chris hospitality is incredible!!! We really liked our stay in Villiana and we will come back, for sure!

The apartments were lovely everything you need. Location great about 10 min walk to beach little hill to walk up but it was fine. Chris the host was so friendly nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended and would defo stay again.

We stayed at Villianas in September 2022 and really enjoyed our stay. Chris was an excellent host and the Seaview was amazing! The room was nice with a big bed and living area. We could walk to stalks beach in 5 minutes and we’re just off the main road to get to other parts of the island. Would stay again

There should be more basic things in the kitchen such as salt, coffee, oil, tea or even milk. There was a dishwashing machine and a washing machine in the apartment, but no washing tablets. It would help leaving some behind. It is unpleasant to ask for such basic things.

We did love everything about the apartment. It was very cozy, the view was breathtaking, the apartment was very clean. The owner upgraded us to a better room. Thank you! The owner was very helpful.

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable for the two of us, and it was great having air conditioning in both the bedroom and living room. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. There was a really nice balcony with a lovely view of the sea, where we enjoyed having breakfast each morning. The pool was also very nice, though we only used it once as the beach was so close (about 5 mins walk). Chris was a great host, very friendly and helpful. Stalida was a great location to be based, relaxed and unpretentious with a nice choice of restaurants and bars and lots of sun loungers available. It's also a good base for trips further east or to Heraklion/Knossos (about a 30 min drive). The beach had lovely calm clear blue water - my partner said it was his favourite of all that we visited in Crete!

Absolutely nothing to fault throughout the whole of our stay. Fantastic location, quiet at night but only a few minutes to the beach and centre of Stalis. The perfect spacious accommodation , super clean, great shower, plenty of hot water, comfortable beds, a proper coffee machine. Chris is a great host, and I would thoroughly recommend Villiana whether you are travelling on your own or as a family. I can fully understand why Chris has so many that return.

Excellent calm location with the superb view to the Stalis beach, just slight walk to the main bars and restaurants street... The apartment is well equipped even with 2 air condition systems. Chris was an amazing dude! He was there receiving us, helped us with our curiosities on local stores and restaurants and other daily needs, thanks once again Sir! The apartment was cosy, beds were very comfortable especially catching up with sleep was sublime with the air conditioning. The location was great just across the road was the beach and at least 2KM stretch of restaurants, gift shops and many more just adjacent to beach. We hired a car so traveling to Matala, Knossos and other places was easy and interesting. Would surely recommend for anyone who wants to go around Heraklion region to make this as their port of retreat 🙂.

We spend our holiday in the 6 person appartment. Great view over the mountains and pool. The rooms are spacious with a very complete kitchen. Chris the host is very helpfull. Several restaurants and a supermarket on walking distance.
