Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. Marijana and her husband are prefect hosts, very friendly and engaged. The home made apple pie and wine was delious and we appreciated very much. The location is great and the view over the valley as well. It is only a 8 minutes walk to Rastoke. The apartment was very clean and well equipped, we felt very comfortable!

Marijana was the perfect host. With great tips where to go swimming and tasty surprises waiting for us in the property. The property itself is very convenient, with lots of space, well aquiped kitchen, laundry service and a great view. We really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent hospitality, very nice and clean apartment in a calm place. Homemade wine and palenka as a gift surprise in a refrigerator upon arrival. Slunj is a nice alternative to Plitvice, lots of streams and waterfalls in a marvelously town center, also possibility to swim in clean and warm waters of river Korana.

Marijana was a great host and her apartment was just as awesome. She was extremely helpful and hospitable, she even made pancakes for us when we got there. The apartment has everything 2 families could need, it's well heated. I personally enjoyed the roof windows that gave great natural light to the bedrooms. The apartment was sparkling clean, better than many hotels we've been to. The location is in walking distance to the waterfalls in Slunj - a must see there, and 30 min car ride from entrance nr. 2 to the plitvice park. There are parking spaces at the property. Overall, great place and even better host!

This is a wonderful place to stay if you visit Rastoke. Note that it is a few km for the main waterfall area, so you need a car. We had a whole two-bedroom apartment, for a very affordable price. The whole unit was spotlessly clean, and well-stocked. We received home-made apple-strudel and prune liqueer when we arrived, and complimentary wine, which was great. The host met us on our arrival, and was very nice and helpful. All-in-all, no issues whatsoever. The unit has a very nice living area for relaxing. Bathroom was very nice and large, and very clean. The area is very quiet. A small grocery store is within walking distance. The town itself is a hidden gem, and almost like a fairytale. Lots and lots of small waterfalls cascading between houses - a unique sight. very nice short walk around the waterfall area. Nice pizza restaurant (Bistro Kum) at the public parking.

Marijana was a gracious hostess. She baked a delicious apple strudel for us and also prepared an amazing breakfast! We truly felt at home. The apartment was clean and very well kept. We highly recommend staying here!

Great place to stay for few days near Plitvice lakes. Very helpful and nice owners. Close the some attractions. Maria brought us very tasty cake and wine.

We love the owner, the apartment, the warm welcome, the helpfullness. Mariana and ranko really superb host. When we request to learn to cook crotian dish, they more than willing to teach us. The village is beautiful and not far from plivice national park. Its hard to say goodbye and leave the place. Totally recommande.

There is so little not to like about this apartment.
A great place. Clean, value, quiet setting. Just as depicted in all the photos. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening at sunset recalling the days adventures over a nice glass of wine grown on site. Nice bathroom with a good shower. Comfortable living area with just the right size kitchen and table. I highly recommend this apartment. It was the perfect place to stay when visiting Plitzvice Lakes, just a short drive away. Rastoke is right there with delicious restaurants and all the waterfalls. All the amenities you need are in Slunj, grocery store, coffee bars, etc.

The house is very beautiful and comfortable. It was incredibly clean. There was absolutely everything we needed, even the number of toothbrush cups according to the number of members of our family. The daughter of the hosts who greeted us was very friendly and helpful. The host left us a bottle of homemade wine as a gift, which we could enjoy in the evening on the beautiful terrace. Absolute recommendation!

The host marijana is very nice, she made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, helped us with our laundry and surprised us with home made delicacy during our stay. The apartment is big, clean with a nice yard and balcony and had every thing we needed. We had an amaizing stay.

Everything was perfect
Very nice, helpful and friendly host! She welcomed us with pancakes, wine and juice for kids and collected us from the restaurand where we got caught in the rain. Peaceful,quiet location. Very clean.

The bed pillows.
The apartment is in the first level. Below the owner leaves there. The kitchen was fully equipped. The bed was confortable but the pillow was too soft. All very clean. The owner was very helpful. They left for us Apple juice and wine. Fantastic place to stay!
