Arriving with a car, it was challenging to find the road and location. In addition, it is hidden behind another house. There are many things like waste lying around in the house compound, which on first sight made a rather negative impression. I have been here 8 years ago and was disappointed by all the construction sites around the accommodation that take away from the atmosphere (which is probably the case all over Bali). Thus, we did not spend time on our little terrace with view of the construction sites but rather walked around Ubud.

The family running the homestay are very friendly. The room was clean, the breakfast was good. The homestay is in 5-minutes walking distance from Ubud Palace, away from the loud street. The taxi service organized for us to go to the airport was on time and at a fair price. Good value for money.

The lane leading to the homestay is narrow and hence cars can't drop one off at the doorstep of Ayu Homestay. Nevertheless, it's just about 1-2 mins' walk to the main road.

The property is in the perfect location for restaurants, shops and bars in Ubud. The staff were extremely helpful: they booked a mount batur sunrise hike for us and our 3 friends staying at other accommodation, arranged scooters and transport to Uluwatu. The breakfast included was great considering the price. We highly recommend!

The crockery supplied to make tea/coffee with was chipped and stained. Breakfast was good.

Beautiful and cosy room in the heart of Ubud, owner by a lovely family. It is simple, but clean with everything you need. Wifi was great and breakfast included is such a plus!

One minor thing, it is located inside another property sometime It was difficult to find entrance and exit 🤣 However nice people and nice room♥️

It was very nice place. Very near to any entertaining and eating places. Breakfast was amazing. Even i skipped one breakfast, they serve more breakfast the next day.

Taxis can't drive all the way there. You need to pull your bag about 5 minutes. The last bit of road is very rough - they could work with their neighbours to get it improved. Finding the reception desk is a bit of a maze, but possible. The shower is just a hand wand, they could install a proper overhead shower head set. They should switch white bread with whole wheat brown bread.

Perfect at that price point. You can't expect better. The happy and helpful staff is what makes this place what it is. If you want central ubud, then this fits. Comfortable bed.

As it was a homestay maybe it's not for everyone, but we loved it. Everything was clean and we really cannot complain.

The homestay was amazing, one big family and great breakfast. We easily rented a scooter and also used the option of the airport shuttle which went smoothly! Highly recommended for a genuine experience!

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They organised scooter and Taxi from the airport and between hotel for us. The location is very convenient, walking distance from the main street ( shopping, market, coffee and restaurant) also walking distance to the monkey forest. The breakfast was ready and delivered to our room before our day tours it was also a plus. The place was very clean and safe.

I had an amazing room with nice view! It's perfect to spend a day with yourself among nature The room has everything for tea and coffee, a fridge and all the shower accessories) And the sweetest thing is that at the checkout the girl gave me such a nice Balinese bracelet Thanks!

The homestay is in a great location, very central but still really peaceful. The breakfasts were delicious and all the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The room had everything we needed, really comfortable and clean. Would absolutely recommend this place!

A lot of religious things inside de property (same as others places in Bali, bit I still don’t like it) and to get there the street is very dark, but it is safe
