The cleanliness of the rooms could’ve been better and there was barely any water pressure in shower. Buffet breakfast lacked but it was the woven placemats engrained with bird poo that really did it for me.

Location to the beach was fantastic and the swim-up bar was fun. Staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in need of some renovations. Was very difficult to have a shower due to water issues.

The hotel was a nice basic hotel with a great pool bar. It was right on the beach with all the nice restaurants. Live music every night. Compared to the costs of other hotels in the area, it was well priced.

The location was great. Nice pool. The staff were very friendly. The pool bar was great The room was nice and big.

The first room on the ground floor had a big mosquito problem. You could not sit outside as you were swarmed with them.

The second room we had was really nice as our friends upgraded us to the high rooms with ocean views and there were no mosquitos. The breakfast was really good too. The grounds and location were spot on.

Our toilet in our room had a very strong smell coming from the vent throughout to e whole trip. They tried to fix the vent in the ceiling above as pipes could’ve been leaking, but smell was quite disturbing. Otherwise all was good

We have stayed here for a number of years due to: the beachfront location, the friendly welcoming staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and grounds and the location to many excellent restaurants. The hotel is an older Balinese style hotel and a little dated but perfect for our needs. Over the years we have stayed in all of the rooms types. This time the double deluxe, upstairs with a great view if the large swim up pool bar and beach. The room is large with a wrap around balcony.

Bathroom was tired and had, had a partial refit. Tiles had not been replaced and floor was marked and stained. Towels were thin and obviously well-worn. The room had limited storage space. The safe was provided with the wrong instructions. Requests for assistance from reception were ignored. One guest fell through the edge of the pool while we were there, thankfully without serious injury. The pool bar was the only bar in the hotel. It served glass bottles and glasses which was a safety issue. Bottles had to be removed from the pool. Some Australian guests were antagonistic and abused other guests. They were allowed to drink to excess and were observed spitting into the pool. When checking out in the morning, no member of staff were on duty in reception.

Some attempt had been made to freshen up the room and give it a more modern feel. Arrival was dealt with smoothly and porters took luggage to room. Pool was large and had ample loungers and shade. Easy access to the beachfront. Room cleaner did a good job. Breakfast was good

The buffet breakfast was good, but we have had much better. The room lighting could have been better in a couple of rooms we had.

Well located, backs onto the beach full of restaurants/bars with beanbags, etc. Less than 5 min walk to a main street of shopping and restaurants. Great pool with swim up bar. Rooms are a decent size and was pretty good value for money.

The rooms were very dated, this included the beds/sheets etc, they urgently need replacing and the room would often have a bad smell when you walked back in.

Breakfast was fantastic and the pool/swim up bar was perfect for families. The grounds were lovely and felt secluded.

The pool has a lot of mould all over the tiles. Also, after booking well in advance, and paying for a ‘Super Deluxe Room with balcony & Sea View’, we were put in an inferior room that didn’t have a balcony or sea view & had many maintenance issues. When we complained about the room they had put us in, we were told our ‘Super Deluxe Room with balcony & Sea View’ was fully booked out. After 24hrs & 4 requests, they moved us into the correct room type. They then said they had to move someone else out to give us the room that we booked.

The entire property is a bit aged and some areas would benefit from an upgrade (pool chairs, just to name one).

Partial beach view from the pool and the location at Seminyak beach was perfect for me. The breakfast is nice with enough options. Staff was very friendly. The pool is large with a swim in bar. Close vicinity to several really nice beach front restaurants as well as walking distance to the Main Street area.

Students staying for long periods of time putting towels on chairs around pool for three hours meaning people couldn’t get chairs. Staff began to get on to it but they put their own stuff on the chairs then so people couldn’t take them. Made it a little uncomfortable around the pool. Solution needs to be found to suit everyone.
