The guesthouse is next to the town centre, about ten minutes walk from Quay Street. There are several pubs, restaurants nearby, you can easily find what you fancy eating as well as good music. The house itself is very comfortable and nicely decorated. The landlady is charming, we feel at home.

I loved everything about this property

This beautiful guesthouse is minutes away from Latin quarter yet quiet and peaceful! It is spotless, very clean , beautifully decorated , spacious rooms, very comfortable beds and pillows, private patio for outdoor seating and meeting the family who runs it was an absolute delight! They are so kind and caring and helpful and accommodating and friendly! I loved staying there for two nights, it is just wonderful!

Kira gave us a wonderful welcome, everything was super comfortable and clean, breakfast was delicious and the guesthouse is really well located to visit Galway. It's a two-minute walk from the West End and a five-minute walk from the main attractions across the bridge, but in a really quiet corner just next to a park. I highly recommend it!

For a single person, the room is what I expected. Not huge but large enough and well prepped. It's also in a quiet neighborhood, with easy parking. The breakfast was delicious and served with style. The hostess & owner was super kind and personable, with great advice about what parts to see (or avoid). The location is perfect if you don't want to be smack in the noisy touristy part (Latin Quarter), but a stone's throw from where the local night scene is.

I highly recommend Adare Guesthouse for anyone visiting Galway and wanting a wam, hospitable and clean place to stay that is steps from downtown/the Latin Quarter. We stayed here during our honeymoon in Ireland from Sep 1-3, 2023. Kyra and her family are gems. We received a warm welcome and such accommodating care during our entire stay. At one point, I developed a bad cough and stayed in our room for breakfast rather than in the dining room with the other guests. Kyra brought up a warm bowl of porridge and fresh fruit for us (thank you so much Kyra, and I hope we didn't get anyone sick!). The location was perfect too. It's right near a park that you can cut through to the Latin Quarter, about a 10-15 minute walk to everything. Thank you Kyra and your family for taking good care of us during our stay! xo

I can only recommend Adare Guesthouse! The interior made you feel right at home, everything was very clean and good smelling, the beds are comfortable and on top of that the Family that owns Adare are very kind and friendly, offer you advice (and a piece of chocolate). If you are on foot you are in the city center and at the beach in under 10 minutes and other bus stops are also easy reachable.
