The location of some of the terrace rooms is so poorly located that we ended up with a wall view of the next hotel, just a flat wall. It was sunny all day, so we could not have enjoyed it until the sunset, The hotel was full, so we could not have been relocated, The sun umbrella could not open all the way, so it kept on closing, so we could not have been there also until someone came to fix it, The shower head kept on falling until someone came to fix it also. During the last evening in the terrace jacuzzi, a member of the staff went into our room to close the sun umbrella due to some wind, and we were not dressed, so it was a bit disturbing to say the least. The TV stopped working in the middle of a movie at night, and someone was sent to fix it quickly. The staff was amazing and did what they could in the time they had to fix it all.

The location is good, allowing walking distance from most tourist places to visit. The balcony with the jacuzzi is nice in the evening, The customer guest service are nice and do what ever they can to please guests within the limits of their ability. Breakfast is full and plentiful, and freshly made with lots of options.

The parking lot it TINY and is usually full. We had to pay for street parking outside the hotel, annoying. (Maybe the should work some special price or free parking in the huge outdoor parking lot near the hotel, it would make a huge difference. Also something that really was odd to me is the hospitality level from some reception people and staff, being very low and inconsistent. Some staff were polite and some pretty rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately, simple regular hotel requests like an ice bucket & a pair of wine glasses (for a wine we ordered from room service and was brought up warm) were met with “we don’t carry any, go check yourself at the bar maybe you can fill a plastic bag of ice there” lol , or “we can’t contact room service for you, you can call them and ask yourself from your room” (when standing in reception). Things like that, unfortunate and easy to fix with some staff training i’m sure but still not very appropriate for a big hotel.

We loved the great view of the lagoon from our little balcony and that we could dry beach stuff there. The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was 10/10! There was also one amazing guy at the reception, a Russian - Hebrew - English speaking gentleman that was super helpful and welcoming, truly an assent to this property, he was working the lobby alone when we arrived and was doing such a great job!

Old hotel. Facilities feel outdated. Not luxurious. Bathroom felt very cheap and flooded with water for no reason. Plastic tub. Room was facing the marina which was very noisy at night. Terrace door knob was broken so we could not access the balcony. On check in they signed us up to the hotels membership club with the promise we will get a sign up gift. We did not get anything in the end

While the hotel caters for families, it would be a benefit to have an adult-only dining area. The many families at the hotel tend not to care that their children run wild through the dining area, making a quiet start to the day something of a fantasy.

This was our second visit to the Dan Panorama. We found it to be a very good hotel several years ago and have just paid another visit. The hotel is large but everyone is catered for in a friendly manner. All the facilities we used were well maintained, the room was clean and comfortable; and the buffet breakfast selection was very good.
