Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe Hotel Staff is amazing we had problems with booking and they helped us through everything. You can always come to them and ask for anything, and they will try their very best to make your stay as Amazing as possible. The food is also really good and splits into meaty and milky food days to keep the hotel kosher, but even as a non Religous person, you will always find some tasty things you like. The rooms are big and luxurious, the beds are very comfortable and the view is amazing, everything is very clean and gets cleaned every day, even when we were in the room almost the entire day once they just quietly slid in when they knew we were out and made the bed and bathroom ready. To put it in the amazing hotel manager doubis words, " As soon as you enter the front door, you are considered family" and that's really what it feels like. We had an amazing time at this hotel and hope we can soon come back.

CanadaThe location if you want to be close to the beach and in the heart of the acción, the pool in the smaller scale but still enjoyable
Location, the staff was very nice, they offer us a welcome water and a plate of fruits, they have snack in the lobby, I found that very nice of them to be a little extra generous, I have not seen that in other hotels with a similar standard, so this little details are really nice and appreciated

United KingdomSwimming pool area is small but we had a balcony which was half sun and half shade so perfect and quiet. But most rooms do not have balconies.
The Duty Manager Doubi was amazing as were all the staff. We were made so welcome. There was a huge choice for breakfast and service was always with a smile. Rooms were cleaned beautifully each day and any problems were dealt with immediately. Thank you for a lovely few days.

United KingdomThe lifts are a bit slow esp when hotels full but this is v minor!!!
Although it looks slightly run down from outside, this is such a wonderful hotel. It is very, very clean. The rooms are very, very comfortable and excellently laid out. Beds are great. The odd numbered rooms have a view of the sea although they are listed as city view. The staff are so helpful, nothing is too much. The location is great - very central with a very short walk to the beach, yet rooms are very quiet even when hotel very full! Breakfast is great and esp on Friday/Sat appreciate having longer breakfast. Hugely appreciated having grape juice available for kiddush/havdala. Lovely touches of fresh fruit brought infor shabbat, water & chocolates. Special thanks to all the staff - esp Michal at Reception & Doubi. So helpful, nothing was too much. Very friendly too. I highly recommend this hotel. I feel lucky to have discovered it!

South AfricaThis is by far the best place we've stayed in and we travel a lot. The staff (especially Noa and Gustavo), the food, the value for money, location etc are all tops. Furthermore, we are so impressed with Netanya as a town with its excellent beaches, restaurants, shops and vibe. Highly recommended for a vacation.

IsraelThe early Shabbat meal was served too early. The later one after Friday night praying was not good. Too many people in the space provided. The containers of food were messy and unpleasant & the noise of the children unbearable- not how a Friday night meal should be. It would have been sensible to warn couples like ourselves that we should have made other arrangements.
The breakfast had every possible choice, perhaps not necessary. Cheese could have been sliced instead of in little cubes. Someone to make fried eggs with choice of added onions, tomato etc. Coffee not good except the Expresso was ok. But I would like real filter coffee for breakfast. Would have liked fried eggs not scrambled

IsraelI chose the Leonardo Netanya because I saw it had a business center. I work remotely, and needed to work for a few hours during our stay. I went down to the main desk to ask where the center was, and was told (very rudely) by the woman at the desk that the center was "for businessmen only, and people pay for use of the center, not people like you." I don't know if she meant because I am a woman, or what, but it was EXTREMELY rude and unexpected. She eventually relented with a sigh, and said, "FINE, you can go up." Like it was a huge inconvenience for her to let "someone like me" use the center. This was really uncomfortable and left a terrible impression. So uncomfortable, in fact, that I wouldn't return or recommend the hotel to others. In a time where the world values inclusivity, this was just beyond anything I've ever experienced.
