Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Service in the restaurant was attentive but delivery of food was slow and haphazard. We didn’t like the taxi arrangement which involved using an agent.
Our room was lovely. Large, clean and stylish. Reception staff were very helpful and professional. The location was excellent- the hotel is accessible by car yet only 5 minutes walk from the top of the pedestrianised mall. We ate all our meals in the hotel. Food was excellent quality and good value.

The Price it was way to high for two nights. And the uncourteous behaviour of the front desk staff at the hotel.
The Location, It was nearer to The Mall, Food specially the breakfast was very good and delicious, The Suit & The Amenities provided in that suit was fabulous.

The balcony needs outdoor furniture. While the hotel provided us 2 chairs on request, they were banquet chairs. Proper outdoor chairs and small table will be great to sit out and enjoy the view.
The location is really good, right on mall road makes it very accessible for walk on mall road and walk to the ridge. Also taxi can reach here so it's easier.

Choice of breakfast, quality was very good. Excellent location but tariff is on a higher side. On my recent visit with family, I opted for Oberoi Clarkes which was reasonable as compared to Marina.

The open air rooftop restaurant which is the best part of the hotel was closed for serving food and drinks.
In the overcrowded Shimla town, to be on the jam packed roads is madness. So the location of Marina is possibly the best option for an enjoying the Mall Road and Ridge. The bar has an excellent sound system and a great DJ. The food and room service is good.

That's wonderful to hear! A comfortable and memorable stay in a hotel can make a trip even more enjoyable.
The hotel stay was exceptional and the food was absolutely delightful. ( Mr. Amit chef , Narendes singh , gururam, Mr Ravi and front office staff was incredibly attentive and made our stay truly memorable. We were thoroughly impressed with the comfort, cleanliness, and overall ambiance of the hotel. The meals were prepared to perfection, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. We cannot praise the hotel enough for providing such a fantastic experience.

They are charging high price for the stay but the Breakfast provided was not good as it is supposed to be as per the price range.

Bad attitude from staff.Not willing to assist in any matter.I had booked for 3 days and i had to leave a day before .When asked if something could be done about it during check in and also check out ,they are unable to assist in any matter.When asked for an invoice during checkout they could not provide as well.
