People smoke inside the restaurant, I felt this is quite unusual and unhealthy

_As a comparison with previous visits...there was a welcoming free fruits dish in our room on arrival...but..now..no such sevices . _Value of money is very expensive. _No tooth brush and paste in bath. But..it s good place in general.

The host @ the restaurant was lost or maybe new, walking in I asked where is the coffee, he said sit and we will get it for you. We sat for like 15 minutes and nothing. I went again to the host and asked and he replied it’s extra charge(which I was surprised) free breakfast open buffet but you have to pay for coffee!!! Money is not an issue but the amount of confusion is not necessary in such a beautiful hotel.

there was no buffet breakfast because of Ramadan . a bit expensive and could not pay with card in US dollars although it’s the currency they put out in booking. so had to convert it to iqd and of course it’s never to your favor.

Old, need renovation hotel, extremely smell after smoking in the room, also, the management do not accept early check in thus I should pay for two nights. The rooms is big, you have hall with chairs and bedroom, balcony. The bed was nice and comfortable, hot water should wait 5 min. There are a lot of cafe and shops near hotel, and cross the road, near the river you can find very good restaurant.

We stay only for one night, and really this hotel superb and very comfortable, everythings are good and as new, the cleaning rate too high, the room contain small kitchen and good size bathroom. The staff very welcoming, and helpful. Nur resturant at the top 7th floor with fantastic view over Abu Nawas street on side on revier, they offer many options of food, drinks and Narigilla, with good price.

They seem to have an issue with their water pressure, which is extremely high. Makes for a good shower, though. Other than that, no complaints.

Great value for money in a superb location just off Abu Nuwas Street, next to the Palestine Hotel (which is several times the price and a little seedy nowadays). Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the hotel has an old world charm. Staff are friendly and helpful, and speak good English.
