Room was very small. There was no space for luggage to open on the floor. And there was no show curtain.

I appreciate that it’s a restored monastery, but a lot of work needs to be done so it doesn’t feel musty and old. There was black mold on the ceiling in our shower.

The buffet breakfast was good with lots of selection. The location is great, close to the train station and vaporettos. Reception staff were friendly. We appreciated the availability of umbrellas to borrow during the thunderstorm! The bed was super comfortable and we slept soundly.

Cost was higher than our other hotels, but it was a very nice place.

Breakfast was delicious. Great location to accommodate late arrival - close to bus station. They held our bags the day of checkout, which was very helpful.

Room was so warm. Maybe the location of our room was not the best, but can’t imagine to stay during hot summer days.

Location is good, close to train station. Middle garden is good and peaceful for the breakfast. Staff was really good, especially for the breakfast.

the room was freezing cold. we tried to use the heater and they told us that it was turned off because it was not winter (hard to agree with that since the weather was rainy and cold outside). that being said we're glad that we only stayed 2 nights, freezing at night it's not our idea of comfort. if they fixed that, we would stay there again..

Air-conditioning wasn't switched on yet as the weather was unexpectedly hot in Venice.

Located in the beautiful Cannaregio area, 4 mins by foot from Santa Lucia train station which worked excellent when traveling with heavy luggage. Close proximity to all attractions. Staff are amazing and kind! Miko is the best!

The room we were assigned were on the 3rd Floor and it does not have elevator. They have another wing that has a lift and it is more convenient for people with lots of luggages.

Beds were uncomfortable, bathroom door sticks, missing towel bar in bathroom.

It was impossible to regulate the temperature of the room. We were unable to turn down the heat and it was terribly hot in the room and we were unable to sleep. We had to sleep with the window open in the middle of March to allow some relief.

It's a pity the main hall (an old area where the monks used to dine) hadn't an open bar. It's a beautiful peaceful place that would be lovely to sit in & have a glass of vino! But, in fairness,,,,, the lads said we could bring our own & drink away (which we did :)

The location is perfect. 10 minutes from the bus station. The hotel is an old monastery, a beautiful building with amazing character. The corridors & rooms are quirky & brilliantly lit with clever lighting. The breakfast is outstanding with so many options to choose from. All of the staff in the hotel were so friendly & helpful. We would highly recommend the Hotel Abbazia!
