Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaSome of the rooms are en suite. Make sure you book both rooms in the suite if you want absolute privacy.
Sergio's place is a classic 17th-century apartment with much of the original structure. Staying here you will live as a real Neapolitan who has a Palazzo space. There is a very large terrace with an incredible view of Mount Vesuvius which is glorious at sunset, and very sunny in the morning for your first coffee. The apartment is the home of an artist with personal books and works on the walls which makes staying there as if you are staying with a friend. This is much nicer than an impersonal hotel-like atmosphere. It is a very large comfortable space but not deluxe. The shared bathroom is fine. Although there is no access to a full kitchen, i found the dining area with a microwave and basic dishes adequate. The location is excellent, being right near the Museo metro station is perfect for anywhere you want to go and you also can walk to all the sites. Enzo who helps with greeting guests is a lovely person and extremely helpful, you will be well taken care of. Overall this is a great place to stay and you will enjoy it a lot.

We had a wonderful time staying at this B&B. From the terrace you have a beautiful view on the Vesuvius. The B&B is within 10 minutes walking distance of train and metro. Bonus: you are welcomed by the sweetest cat!

IrelandSergio is a brilliant host, he gave me great information on the area and where to eat etc. The room I had was a comfortable double bed. Extremely well located and only 5 minute walk from metro station Piazza Cavour (which is only 1 stop from Napoli Centrale station. Also only a 10/15 minute walk to the centre of the city. All facilities were excellent, the shared bathroom was clean and shower was very up to standard. Towels were provided along with coffee every morning. The rooftop terrace area is very scenic with a great view of Mt Vesuvius. Plus there is a very nice cat that lives there too :)

Czech RepublicNot suitable for people, who wants to have a private accomodation. Room is better for young people, students etc. It is not very comfortable, not a good wardrobe for clothes, bathroom and toilet is shared with the family. Street down is very loud at night. On the other side it is situated in center and if you go there only to spend a night, it is ok 🙂
Good location near the historical center. Owners very kind.

GermanyAt night, the street outside was noisy with cars, but as this is a central location in Napoli, it is to be expected.
Sergio and his family are very warm and accomodating, the place has a friendly and relaxed vibe, and meeting the cat on the way to the bathroom makes you feel at home.

Sergio is a really great host. He even picked us from the airport when he droped his daughter. He also recommended an excellent restaurant just in walking distance. The terrace is amazing and you feel like really welcomed to Naples. Would definitely book again.

BelgiumDue to covid there was no breakfast, alas and also no reduction in price. The kitchen was fully stocked but there is no way to tell how long items had been there. It was not very easy to find but one of the hosts helped us by phone. The bathroom of our room (private -- I think other rooms has a shard bathroom) was very small and not so comfortable. For people with cat allergies this might not be the place as the cat had free access to our room (via the balcony) - but I loved being welcomed by the cat every evening.
This place made me feel like a student again, in student housing. ;-) The whole apartment has very high ceilings and has a certain feeling of grandeur-gone-by. The room was very large and spacious and had access to the large terrace. I really liked the terrace, which gives the place a wonderful feeling of openness. The cat of the house is awesome. I'd go back just for the cat!

BulgariaThe apartment definitely needs some work, the bathroom was not very clean, the sheets and the blanket could also use a change. It is a good option for students because of the fair price but maybe not the best choice for couples / families because of the shared spaces and the overall level of comfort.
The location is very good - a walking distance from the main tourist attractions. The terrace is beautiful and has a great view. The apartment is in an old building and has some very nice spaces and unique pieces of furniture.

HungaryThe location is quite central, within walking distance to a lot of attractions and also well connected by public transportation. The apartment has a nice, big rooftop terrace, we loved spending some time out there in the evenings. Sergio, our host was very kind, flexible and helpful with all our questions and needs. It was like staying at a friend’s house—so choose this place if you prefer this kind of experience rather than staying at a hotel (which is more commercial, less personal, but can offer more privacy). I would definitely like to return again someday! :)

NetherlandsThe showerdrain gets full pretty fast, but works fine if you turn the water off for a moment.
The B&B was really clean and the owner is a really friendly person. He was around a lot and gave us great advise for things to see in the area that weren't that touristy. He also has the cutest cat ever, which we loved. We really felt at comfortable and at home here, which is not always the case when you're the only two girls in a B&B. Also, the rooms are huge and the balcony is amazing. You get a lot of privacy. Thank you!

AustraliaThe lack of street signage makes it extremely hard to locate B&B Stella for the first time visitors to Napoli-walked past the property 3 times without recognition due to no obvious signage.

BulgariaThat I had to leave :)
I booked this place during a spontaneous trip which every day was not planned, but there was one end goal - Naples. I was impressed by the cover picture at first and then found the price within my range for the weekend. I had no expectations. I arrived by foot in the rain - a very vivid first encounter with Naples. Everything somehow felt very familiar and cozy despite what you hear about the little narrow streets sometimes. From the start the host was checking up with me and had the most complete communication style. I was amazed by the interior, the space and among all - the cat which also welcomed me - it was absolute love at first sight. The room was huge, the bed was comfortable. It's not a regular BnB - you can feel the energy and the special spirit. For me even staying in this guest house was an exploration of It's own. The balcony is fantastic, I can still hear the sound of the bells accross in the morning. Combined with the name, the street, the view - it's timeless. Thank you for such a strong first impression and this Napoli episode!
