We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Singapore1) Reception In general, the reception staff is not very welcoming. Let me clarify Check in experience - experience was very smooth and easy. I did not get the room early but it is to be expected given the season. Leaving the hotel early (5:30 AM) - the front doors were locked. I tried to call out to someone but no one was replying. I had to find my way to the restaurant and discovered an exit. I expected a 24 h reception and this was a bit disappointing. Settling bills day before check out - I wanted to settle any bills on the day before check out since my train is leaving early the next day (7:30 AM). The person insists that even if I settle my bills, I still need to go thru the process because the person who will be in the reception the next day will not know. He even reprimanded me that I should "plan ahead in case 100 people are checking out that morning". He claims "he cannot help me if that happens since he cannot predict what will happen". The attitude is very arrogant and unsympathetic. I said to the person - I paid my bills, my conscience is clear, and I am leaving. Complain to Booking.com if you want to. Check out day (6:45 AM) - I did have to go thru the check-out process. Fortunately, no one was around. And the person on the counter was surprised that my bill is settled?!?!?! 2) General behavior of guests I think the building foundation is wooden so running on the corridors and closing doors will reverberate throughout the building. Annoying but still bearable.
The room and bathroom is spacious and clean. A perfect place to rest after a long, hot day of exploring cities (eg. Venice, Padua, Verona, etc.) The air conditioning works perfectly for hot August summer weather.

If you wish to spend one night or a few days in Venice without breaking the bank, yet enjoying world-class amenities, a spacious room, and friendly, efficient service, look no further! Yes, you won't be sleeping right on the Canal Grande, but do you need to, when trains to/from Mestre Station (literally across the street from Hotel Bologna) run continuously and cost EUR 1.45 (one way)?
