I think it’s important to be aware that the 3 flights of stairs are steep but without them you wouldn’t have the lovely terrace, which made our stay even more wonderful.

The facilities, great to have a washing machine too! It was charming, spacious and we loved the terrace. It was lovely!

There was a few things missing in the kitchen (bowls, scooping spoons,…) and a mirror in the downstairs bathroom !

We liked the amenities and location ! The rooftop terrasse was a must and we couldn’t have a better view of the church next to it. Also, the 2 bathrooms were very convenient.

Kitchen wasn’t well equipped. Cleanliness could be better. Washing machine present but no detergent provided.

The property was great. The location was perfect, round the corner from all of the shops and bars but very peaceful. This was our 3rd stay in Monopoli and the best location so far. The property itself is on 3 levels. The ground floor has the main bathroom with washing machine, this was great but a bit of an inconvenience to have to walk downstairs. The 1st floor has a sitting area and kitchen. The kitchen was ok but not very well equipped. The bedroom on the 2nd floor was comfortable and had a small en-suite bathroom. The terrace on the top level was fantastic, we loved having coffee up there or a glass of wine in the evening. Overall we loved the property, however it does feel a little dated and in need of a refresh. Although the bathrooms and bedding were clean we felt the entire property was in need of a deep clean. Checkout was quite early so we enquired about late checkout, as we could see that nobody was booked into the property for several days. We were told this would cost us 50 EUR, which felt a little mean, so we declined. Our flight wasn’t until 10pm that evening but luckily the tourist information centre stored our baggage for 5 EUR!

The location was perfect - lots of shops, restaurants and bars around, close to the local beaches and a short walk to the train station. The apartment itself was cosy, cool during the day and night and the outside table area was a cherry on top of the cake. Great host!

Beatiful and good equipment apartment. The best location in Monopoli, very close to everywhere: restaurants, train station, the most popular port in Monopoli. The stairs can be the problem for children or old people, but for us it wasn't the problem. The terrace is amaizing.

WiFi was sometimes unreliable, not always. Not problem for us but people need to be aware that property is on 3/4 floors. First floor bathroom and store/ wardrobe, second floor kitchen, third floor bedroom and en-suite, and fourth was the lovely roof terrace. The stairs are steep so may be problem for some and definitely unsuitable for children.

self catering facilities. Cooking facilities were good. Would like if there were some basics available like oil, salt, tinfoil, extra bin bag. The coffee maker was very good. Roof terrace was great, really nice. Location was very central but as located in cul de sac there was very little street noise at night. Two bathrooms was bonus.

The accommodation is in a great location in the historic city center. In the old, multi-storey apartment, you will feel how the local people have lived for centuries. It is clean and well equipped and the terrace is fantastic. The parking is a little bit problematic but if you are lucky, you can find a parking lot in the city 8 minutes from the property. When we checked out the host sent a special FIAT 500 to take us and our luggage to our car.

Very nicely rebuild old house in the middle of the ancient town. Nicely decorated, fully equiped, perfect roof terrace with amazing view. Very friendly staff gave us a lift with the small funny car from the station and back.

the bed mattress must be changed, it sank in the middle and this makes the bed uncomfortable 😅 It would be nice to have a hanger by the door somewhere to hang your coat. attention, I read in other comments that there was a terrace above the building , well, if there was one once, it is no longer available.

the location was perfect, right in the middle of the historic center clean house with almost everything you need, and a little patio outside , in front of the house. in the bedroom it is quite dark and the air is heavy to breath , there is a window that allows ventilation as much as possible , also a dehumidifier which helps . in the evening it is cold in the house but there is air conditioning which solves the problem a little. the bathroom is cramped, there are towels, shower gel, and a hair dryer, but the real problem is the very low water pressure, which makes it difficult to take a shower. Also one night we were visited by a big and ugly cockroach 😖😱 probably an american cockroach that came in , somehow. the kitchenette is very small, with a stove with 2 burners, one of them had a problem every time when i turned it on the electricity dropped down .🤷🏼‍♀️ it is equipped with a refrigerator, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans but the microwave oven and a tea kettle are missing.

The air conditioner was incredibly difficult to work and the washing machine was also not working. No toaster or kettle. Also very little water pressure in the shower.

Location was excellent, towels large and fluffy.

There was no internet connection for the whole second week. Host was unable to resolve the issue. Also as it is a basement you could not use your mobile internet inside. Very difficult when you are trying to organise travelling forward.
