A stunning, beautiful and pastoral place..a perfect Bauhaus house from the 1930s immersed in a lovely green garden, we were treated very nicely by the hosts and enjoyed the experience, Gabriela the owner is lovely and Bobby is simply charming..highly recommended.

We found that the room was a little over furnished but that is only a personal choice and not a criticism as others may prefer it. This place would be our only choice when returning to Tortona.

Our host and Robbie, their staff were amazing. They couldn't be more accommodating. The house is a beautifully restored and maintained Art Decor house. Even the furniture is period correct. Our bed was massive and way too comfortable when trying to get out of bed for breakfast each morning. Parking is free and easy right outside the house. Breakfast consists of a wide range of options and the coffee is excellent. Our room was very large with not one but two balconies either side. Location of the house is on the top of the Tortona hillock and it is a short 10 to 15 minute walk in to the old town. The house is in the Castello park which is a great place to explore. The water pressure and bathroom layout are very good. The WiFi is not fast but more than adequate. The TV has dual language options but no streaming. The area around the house is so quiet that you can hear breeze in the trees. Beautiful gardens.

Perhaps too many fussy glass and silver dining objects with a breakfast heavy on presentation rather than taste. Good fruit and yoghurt but really don’t need 6 types of sweet cakes & pastries and cold white toast … less is more? We ate later than the manager wanted us to and he did hover alot!

An amazingly curated collection of art deco furniture and objects in a great building. Gorgeously comfortable beds and all comforts provided for. We had the top floor expansive bedroom and enjoyed the feel of being in the forest on a misty feb morning. Paintings and interest everywhere. The granddaughter owner is lovely and gracious.

The only thing I can say - you can hear everything from the stairs and halls.

Very special experience. Villa from golden age of modern with literally everything from that époque. People are very very nice and friendly. Garden and surrounding are so beautiful.

The house is beautiful and you won't have enough time to take a look at all the beautiful paintings, art and curiosity. The breakfast is by far the most special and best we ever had. . All in all a very special experience, highly recommended!

Casa Cuniolo exceeded our expectations in practically every aspect. I could write an essay as to what we liked about it, suffice to say, we simply recommend that you visit and experience this amazing house for yourselves.

we were a bit worried about the car due to no indoor garage. we parked outside. fortunately nothing happened due to the super quiet area.

wonderful jewel in the middle of the old castle/forest area! if you like design, this is for you! a great Bauhaus designed house full of incredible art and quirky corners. we slept so good, very quiet area. Lovely hosts. thank you!!

The entrance stairs were very slippery because of the ❄️. Room a little bit cold and the water in the shower not so warm.

The house is a Gem. Room was great, spacious and big terrace. The surrounding wonderful and a quit position in Tortona. Breakfast very Englisch and way to much.

Some things could be better. The internet is almost unusable. The TV is the size of a PC monitor. The heating should not be extinguished overnight.

the facility is unique because it is an old villa that has been renovated to have four luxurious rooms. The villa has kept its original appearance and the interior looks impressive, as if you have returned to the past. Breakfast is not just delicious food, but a whole experience.

Nothing I didn’t like but if I have to be picky I would say the outdoor area wasn’t illuminated enough at night.

Casa Cuniolo is the perfect stay if you are travelling around Italy and visiting the region of Piedmont.The guest house was built in 1936 and Gabriella, the current owner, made an excellent host. Our room was full of history, from the bedding to the pieces of furniture around. Gabriella was waiting for us at breakfast where a banquet was prepared for us, from sweet to savoury delicacies provided by local businesses. Highly recommended

The bed is a bit short for a 1.95m person

Everything was great: the location, the building, the different and tastefully furnished rooms, the carefully chosen furniture and decorations. Everywhere you can see the care for details, and the ensemble recreates the atmosphere of the interwar period. A large and well maintained garden. The host was very friendly with us. We had a special breakfast, served in dishes from other times. Un unforgettable experience!

AC was very loud! This is the only negative.

Very quite, in a green place and with lot of character! Good place to stay more than one night. Sadly, we stayed only one. Breakfast is amazing and the owner and the staff, very friendly.

This place offered experience above all expectations. Real gem, stylishly preserved according to its Bauhaus architecture. Very beautiful garden with swimming pool. Breakfast served with prime dishes.We felt almost privileged to stay here. Signora Cuniolo is a warm and caring host and told us about the history of the house.Superior class everything.
