Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

In this price the breakfast was not included which I think can be improved.
The rooms were well maintained with all the necessary things. There was a coffee machine for free coffee. The AC also worked really good.

The bathroom window was open when I walked in and there was a mosquito in the room. There was only 1 teabag in the room. Two would have been lovely - one before bed and one before breakfast.
Great location opposite Milan Central Station. The hotel was a bit tricky to figure out at first. It was (from memory) located on the 2nd floor of the building. There were different hotels occupying each of the different levels, so that was a bit "weird". But once I checked in and got into my room, I was absolutely blown away at how good everything was. It was a compact single room, but for less than €80 in Milan - I was not expecting a huge room. But it was well appointed, simply decorated and the bathroom was modern. I even had a little balcony facing a quiet courtyard. Very cute. There's a kettle in the room, but was supplied only 1 teabag, which I think was a little bit of a letdown considering how great everything else was. I was supplied with slippers and the dental kit - I did not expect that at all. The bed was comfortable and the sheets felt wonderful on my skin. Overall, I had a great stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Not good wifi. Strange parking, but still worth it for 20 EUR per night. We were given twin beds instead of a double. Cleaning could be improved.
Nice room, relatively clean, although some parts were not cleaned (e.g. empty bottles in fridge). Staff were very kind and helpful. Free coffee provided. Some sustainability initiatives.

Nothing you can’t up perfection
This place is amazing . Due to price I had no expectations but this way exceeded everything I could want . Great staff, spotless new hotel , comfy bed and so close to get to Airport the next morning . Great restaurant rec . Lobster and prawns for 24 E one block away .

A nice very well run small hotel right next to the central station. Might not be ideal for a romatic get away, but great if you need to catch a train early in the morning.

Only one nitpick is that I find the clearance between the tap and sink to be too low.
Perfectly comfortable for one night stay and 24 hrs reception helped to check in late and checkout early morning to catch a train to Malpensa for a morning flight. The staff were helpful with the wake up call as well.

Nothing, it was all very convenient.
Great hotel near Central station in Milan - ideal for the last night before going home by train or by plane (the buses to Milan Malpensa depart in front of the hotel). Brand new rooms, well equipped with AC with a modern decor. With the windows closed, the sound from the street is not a problem at all. There is always someone at reception so very handy. Lots of restaurants around as well.

Surroundings of any train station is not the best place on earth... so it would be different in this case. About the hotel, not much to say - good place.
The room was quite nice - not very big, but there was plenty of space. The staff was very kind, they even allow me to check-in an hour earlier. There isn't much more - bathroom area was nice - quite spacious, so great stuff on that. Everything looks quite new - I felt very welcomed. I guess for a short hop this is a great option
