Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Terrible plumbing, bathroom could use updating. Elevators not working upon arrival.

I am not a fan of the automated coffee machine, but that is just personal taste. Breakfast was very good all and all.
The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to train and tram stations and tourist attractions. Walking distance to most of the main attractions. The room is comfortable and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this highly. Good value for the price.

The front desk staff customer service could be improved. Getting a second key became a big task for them.
The location was very good. There is a temp parking in front for off loading and garage nearby for.extra. rooms.were spacious and clean. Breakfast was very decent and the price was quite fair.

There is practically NO WiFi.
The staff are great but the facility can use some serious upgrade and renovation. Extra bedding is definitely recommend.

Air conditioning didn’t work well and the shower door was didn’t close all the way so the bathroom got flooded. They fixed it the next day.
Location was good easy to get and close to the sights. The breakfast was very good and the staff was nice

Location is brilliant, however the room was a little dark and the fridge was not functioning properly. Breakfast was sufficient. Staff were lovely and check in/out were smooth and efficient.

Very good hotel, the location is perfect. There is a private parking near hotel and huge food court nearby. The room was very clean and it is fitted for family with 2 kids. Very comfortable beds and bathroom.

Although room was serviced daily, found that surfaces in the room were not wiped down and the floor was not swept properly, leaving them dusty.
The room was a good size with a comfortable bed, a dressing table with a mirror and a desk. Good size cupboard. The room was quiet, no noise from other rooms. Large variety of food offered for breakfast. Nice location near to a large selection of places to eat and the well-known food market that sells all kinds of foods from different vendors under one roof.

We had a couple of issues the water wouldn't stay in bath drained away as quick as you could fill it. On our last night the lights went faulty so you couldn't turn them off. Staff couldn't sort it. No other rooms free so not a very good night's sleep! A few weeks later after complaining we were refunded some money so it was resolved in the end.
The location is brilliant. The staff overall were nice. The room despite the lights issue which was just one of them things was roomy comfortable and clean. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

They don't keep mini bar, or electric kettle/coffee machine..
The hotel is in perfection location, within walking distance from the central station and close to Duomo Church. Also just outside the hotel building you'll find all the street vendors for leathers, souvenirs etc. They have excellent breakfast selection with different pastries, fruits, yogurts, boiled egg and coffee. The room is spacious specially the bathroom, it's huge and very modern.

Shower over the bath is always a little tricky for us , perhaps could do with a handrail for piece of mind.
Good location just a short walk from the railway station. room was comfortable, clean and up to date. Nice breakfast with a great choice and good quality. Would stay here again.
