Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicIt was difficult to communicate in English - most of the staff does not speak English, only Italian or German. We had windows to the main street which is really loud at night - but when you close the windows it is better.
Very nice hotel. Rooms are cozy and clean. Free parking place is next to the hotel - it is pretty narrow, but great to have. Beach is just few metres from the hotel and sunbeds and umbrellas are for free, which is perfect. :) Food was okey, but we reccomend to try some restaurants around as well. Breakfast is okey, - there are sweet and salty options. Dinners - you can choose from 5 possibilities of starters and five possibilities of main course. It really depends if you are lucky while choosing it - some food was really tasty and some not so much. Sallat buffet, desserts and fruit was really nice during the dinners.

SlovakiaAbsolutely nothing to dislike about this great place!
We stayed at Hotel Eraclea with our 5 year old daughter for a week, and it was fantastic! Clean accomodation, comfy beds, huge terrace, friendly staff, great food, in one word perfect. Parking and beach service was in the price so that's a big plus. Also the room was cleaned every day which was great. Whirlpool on the roof, clean beach just across the street, very good gelato. If we come back to Jesolo, we will come back to Hotel Eraclea for sure. Big thumbs up!

HungaryEverything was great! The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and the location was perfect! The carpark at the back of the hotel was really good - we didn’t have to worry about finding a parking space! We really felt welcome and at home and would love to go back!

HungaryEven though it was stated on Booking that the languages spoken were English, German, Spanish and Italian, the lady at the reception during check-in answered almost all of our English questions in Italian, even though we said that we didn't understand, she still only spoke in Italian. Later in the bar and restaurant the experience was similar, the servers and waiters were only willing to communicate in Italian. We have regularly experienced that the receptionist or the waiter at the bar understood what we asked in English, but he simply refused to answer in English, only in Italian. The waiters in the restaurant didn't speak English at all, they couldn't answer any questions we had. From a hotel located in such a frequented location, this is quite embarrassing. The night life – although this is not specifically the fault of the hotel – was a disappointment for us, the only nightclub in the area was closed, and the streets were usually completely empty by midnight. The biggest disappointment was the dinner, it was clearly not worth the price. The portions were very small, moreover, in most cases the food were not very tasty, the fried meats were not seasoned and I don't think they even had any salt. The dinner itself is a menu system, you can choose from five types of appetizers (including two types of soup) and five types of main course. If we had known in advance to expect this for the dinner, we would have rather just asked and paid for breakfast. Also, it's worth considering that breakfast is only available from 8 a.m., you can't go earlier. This cut back many of our planned programs, since by public transport Venice is approx. an hour and a half, by the time you get somewhere by train, you can almost come home. This is quite problematic, in other accommodations where we were previously, you could go to breakfast from 6 o'clock.
The cleanliness of the room was awesome. It was cleaned every day, we received new towels several times during our stay, and the maid even folded the bedspread and our pajamas. You can live well with the buffet breakfast, although the selection was not very wide and it was the same every morning. The location of the hotel is excellent, there are plenty of restaurants and several grocery stores nearby, and the beach is a 3-minute walk away. In addition, the price includes an umbrella and two deckchairs, so you don't have to pay extra on the beach.

SwitzerlandOur AC was broken on first day, our sun bed was double booked by the hotel. The balcony was great, but faced another building.
