Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaIt wasn't clean. In the bathroom it was obviously not well cleaned, especially in the shower cabin. Although there were toiletries there was nothing to put the soap bar on at the sink, and the water was NOT hot, it was kinda warm, just enough to take a quick shower. Not ok for 100€/night. Also the floor of our room was VERY dusty in various places, even spiderweb behind the so called chair. Also, very weird, the duvet didn't have a cover on. Like, it was just how you buy it from the store, and you had 2 sheets that you put under and over the duvet, so you kinda wrapped it around, but it wasn't a cover that you zip. It was a little disgusting because the duvet was yellowish.
The hotel is like 6-7 minutes walking distance to the train station that takes you to Flaminio (Piazza del Popolo) in about 10 minutes. The hotel is on a huge, quiet, lovely and well maintained property, and we enjoyed walking those few minutes to our little room. Looked lovely on the outside, the size of our room was OK, the terrace was amazing to have. It is good enough for sleeping there a few nights if you're out in the city all day anyway. 2 bottles of water in the mini fridge were free, also there was tea, coffee and sugar with a water boiler in the room.

United KingdomThe mattresses feel very worn and a little uncomfortable. There was a young boy acting suspicious at the cars and windows of other cabins. Felt unsafe leaving the windows open during the night.
We weren't in much during the day so it was good for what we needed. Would have used more of the facilities if it was any other time of year. The restaurant was amazing! And so cheap.

AustraliaThe mobile signal was impossible in this section of the park, the bungalow was against a steep hill. We couldn't research or plan anything from our room.
It was adequate for somewhere to stay whilst visiting Rome, budget price.

United KingdomThis is a large site and if you are located towards the back it is a fair walk to reception/entrance. There are a variety of chalets some are really smart but others in need of a bit of TLC. You do need to check which ones you end up in. The first one we were offered was definitely in the latter category but to be fair the lady on reception gave us a choice of others to look at and was most helpful.
We stayed in a chalet, one bedroom plus a sofa bed in the living area. Plenty of room for two but might be a bit crowded for four. The patio was very nice to sit out and have a drink in the evening. It has a nice big free form pool with a snack bar and a separate big restaurant. Although on the edge of the city, the bus stop was right outside of the site and the train station a ten minute walk. There is a Carrefour supermarket just over the road on the way to the station. There also pitches for Campervans, tents and caravans.

United KingdomWe were self catering so didn’t expected cleaning but a sweeping brush and mop would have been handy. A kettle or smaller pot to boil water would have been a welcome addition.
Perfect for family city break. Great pool, and pool bar. Washing machines were great. Bar staff friendly and helpful. Food was tasty and reasonably priced.

ItalyPosition is not ideal for visiting city centre without a car. There was a bus stop and train station nearby but road was a bit dangerous especially in the evening. One receptionist (a woman) was not nice with us but the other one was lovely and friendly!
I loved the accommodation. It was clean and comfortable. I liked the swimming pool although water was too warm. I liked the atmosphere and the green around each area, all was well maintened. The bar was nice with lovely staff. Good taxi service to airport.
