Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Marco is very pleasant and helpful. He's welcoming. He even helped us bring our bags upstairs, something that you don't see everyday in hotels/inn. He gave us recommendations and tips on how to navigate around Rome, he even gave us a map! He's wonderful. The place is clean, wifi is fast and really good and bed are comfortable enough to sleep. I'm definitely going to book this again when I come back to Rome.

The room was nice and clean. It wasn't too far from the attractions, and it was really close to Roma Termini. We were greeted at the door and taken to our room. Once there, we were given recommendations on activities to doc. Overall, it was a great little spot I would definitely recommend.

A cup or paper cup would have been nice. They only had very thin plastic cups,that you worry they melt when you put hot water. But actually they didn'f😊 So all good!
We stayed 4 days. They cleaned every day, every day free water, coffee, tea, fresh towels. Nice and quiet due to good isolated windows.Also we did not hear any neighbors Marco is very nice and helpfull and speaks English. We would come back any time!

It was an amazing stay, Marco the owner was very helpful, communication was easy, he was very flexible, the location is great, very central, the building entrance under renovation so it will be better and better,room facilities is including everything as an hotel, safe box,mini bar fridge, everyday room cleaning with changing towels, coffee machine, a cattle, water bottles ….. cleanliness and everything was amazing Moreover, we had the possibility to store our luggage after check out till our late flight… Many thanks to Marco for everything..

Everything was great--no complaints.
The hotel staff were very nice in providing accommodation for our traveling companion, including arranging airport pickup for an extra fee. They also shipped some books we had left at the hotel to us at our new place in Reggio Calabria. We really appreciate them taking care of the books for us.

Well there are a hell of tv channels but only in Italian but with the good internet things can be managed
The place is convenient just around the corner from the main station,very well organized,clean and proper,ac and heat are working,good sized room with decent decoration and a firm queen sized bed ,coffee machine and hot water for tea and a well lighted bathroom with plenty of hot water,

The entrance of the building. 2nd floor by stairs, but there is a lift for luggage.
Good staff, comfortable and clean. There is a good restaurant beside the hotel.

Marco is a super nice guy. Location is excellent. The room was ok, nothing to complain. All in all, Flowerome will be the first to check when I will come back to Rome.

The hotel locates in an old building so sometimes the sound insulation is a bit weak.
Very friendly staff. My family’s flights were postponed to quite late in the midnight, and the hotel staff (Marco) waited until later than 1:30AM for the check-in, thank you so much! And he has also been very helpful with recommending sightseeings in Rome and telling my family how to find the transportation to the airport, we are very satisfied with his great service. The hotel location is also very central, making it easier to get to anywhere. For people who are visiting Rome the first time it’s very convenient. Overall thanks for the positive experience!

Since it's by the train station, remember it's not the "nicest part" of Rome, but we felt safe.
Excellent location just a couple blocks from Termini Train Station. Walking distance to sites and/or jump on metro at Termini. Very friendly staff and nice accommodations. We were able to check in early when we arrived by train.

We were met by the host and shown to our room, it was very secure and safe we were close to the termini so easy to get around.

 Already really one complaint that I had was it was really hard used to softer bed. Wish they would’ve had a pillow top.

The building itself is old & dark, also the room was dark due to scaffolding outside, common with older Italian hotels though. Also we weren't in the room much. At night the neighbourhood is a bit rugged but everything's clean & tidy again in the morning. Just be sensible with purses etc.
We loved the location of this hotel, close to Termini, shopping and restaurants. The host Marco was friendly and helpful & lovely to deal with. It has a good sized bathroom considering the size of the bedroom and a Smart TV which was a bonus, bring your passwords!

The rooms are wonderful, the building entrance is outdated but do not let this discourage you.
Good place to stay in Rome, near Termini, no frills. The room was very clean, fresh towels provided every day, as well as coffee, tea and bottled water. Great shower. Staff very nice and helpful.

Everything was great! The room was very clean and tidy. The location was really good, we were close to everything on foot. Marcus was a great host, always responsive and happy to help with everything. We’ve had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.
