Not the hotels fault . Public transport buses need to be improved . More regular local/public transportation to visit local towns and villages.

Very chilled and relaxing time at the AHR Baja Hotel Cannigione. Very central location to port and town. Fantastic views from our room. Easy access to the Hotel swimming pool and very private. Hotel staff very helpful . Would highly recommend this Hotel and needless to say Costa Smeralda is an amazzzzing place to visit.

There is a club opposite which plays loud music until 3am. The rooms are not well insulated so we could hear neighbouring/above rooms using the bathroom. The pool area is not very clean. Breakfast was basic. Some of the staff are not especially helpful.

No kettle in room or teabags or coffee Air con and towels heaters switched off completely. Spa charged hourly not mentioned on website and was kicked out after 40 minutes and sauna was not on or hot until 20 mins into session charged for dinner which we didn’t have and still waiting eight days later for €60 to be refunded wasn’t a ; star as advertised

- a coffee maker or at least cups or some glasses and a water cooker….. - we turned around when we saw the breakfast area….the food looked good and varied though. - no response after our last email by their staff….. in other words: bad communication. Four star minus. - front desk handed over the key and that was it. No further information….

+ Very clean and well prepared family room (twin master bed and twin sleeping couch) with balcony at the first floor in front of the elevator + During the night we did not hear a thing. + good selection on flat screen + The pool and their safe guard are great, kids liked the hot tub bubble bath, friendly pool bar personnel, good sitting area, showers. + opposite is an unbeatable place when it comes to cappuccino and breakfast the Italian way. All required shopping available at walking distance. Ate my best grilled fish of Sardinia in a tourist place Linus. + parking at hotel or the back street.

The balcony door was falling out of the frame, hanging on my one hinge. They didn’t do much to fix it during our four night stay, just said they ordered a part and didn’t offer to move us. Felt like it could fall out of the wall. This place is bare bones and can use some new life (plants, better scents, etc.).

Great location and the space has a lot of potential - good hotel size and awesome location. Priced well.

The hotel seems quite dated and feels like management haven't maintained it properly over time. Room fit out is cheap, air conditioning doesn't work in some rooms, and simple things like attending to basic maintenance doesn't seem to get done. For example, during our stay one of the poolside shower drains became blocked and started to smell, but over the 4 days of our stay the staff did nothing to fix or even block off the area causing it to get worse. It was still a comfortable enough stay but not worthy of 4 stars or the money we paid in my opinion.

The mattress was nice and the swimming pool was very relaxing. The staff was friendly but everything which makes a 4 stars was missing (the little extra which makes a difference wasn’t there..no luxury..just basic)

No fridge in the room (for a four star hotel that is quite sad). Parking is hit and miss with people parking in all random places .
