The shower. it was fairly awkward to use and also water ran all over the floors but might concern when weighed up with the wonderful bed and other amenities at the hotel had to offer.

Absolutely nothing comes to mind.

A gem of a hotel. 10 minutes from the railway station and 10 minutes walk into the city walls. The room and bed were super comfortable. It was quiet at night and we slept really well. Great shower and all spotlessly clean. We had a balcony to sit out on overlooking a garden which was a nice touch. Breakfast was amazing with so many choices of food. Freshly made and served with a smile, all staff really approachable and helpful. They had a a lovely sitting room where you could relax in the quiet and have a drink from the bar. The staff went out of their way to be pleasant. I would say value for money and one place I would definitely return if I come back to Siena.

The distance from the station - we didn’t realise that there were escalators in the shopping area opposite to the station, so we walked up the road with our suitcases which was a trial.

Room size was good, bathroom was good, breakfast was very good, staff were very accommodating.

The AC was not working. Even the weather was not that hot I felt hot but the staff bring me a fan. If you come from train station you need to go up 8 escalators to reach the hotel. Not bad but interesting.

This is a fantastic hotel The staff were so helpful and friendly, The breakfast is amazing. The rooms are comfortable and clean and ours had a little sunny balcony too. The location is excellent and a short walk to the start of the old town. The hotel is close to the top of the escalators coming from the train and bus station also. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Siena

Aircon didn't work/or hotel didn't put it on yet (mid May) so room was very hot. Would therefore be nice if we were allowed complimentary water from the rooms mini fridge. Being British and loving tea...needed more then one teabag and some milk...however when asked ..staff were very obliging.

Location was excellent! When you come off train head up all the esculators as high as you can go, exit station and turn right and just up the road!) Walking distant to beautiful Siena town. Large room and really large bathroom. Comfy beds. Obviously a bit noisy as so central but fine with windows shut. Everything was clean and modern.

Great location. From the train station, you take the escalators all the way to the top, once on the street, go to the right and hotel is only a few minutes walk. However, if you had turn left from the station, the old city is only a five minute walk away. Views from our room facing south were a bonus. Staff were very helpful.

The lack of air conditioning - we asked staff if it could be turned on and were told no. Our room was 26 degrees at night and we couldnt sleep due to the heat. We opened the windows but couldn't sleep from the noise

The bathroom was a bit dated and the shower ended up with water everywhere! It was about a 30 minute walk to the Duomo and main square - a lot of hills to be aware!

Hotel Italia was located close to the train station but be sure to use the escalator up as the hill there is steep! The room was clean and neat with all the amenities including a bath tub to soak after all the hills and walking and I was lucky enough to have my own balcony to sit and enjoy the view. The staff were friendly and helpful for all my requests and assisted in making dinner reservations as well. The breakfast was great and offered several gluten-free options that made the start of the day filling and easy. Free wi-if throughout the hotel.

The hair dryer doesn't work. The sound isolation is not good, whenever the next-door bedroom was plugging the cellphone charger, we were able to listen through the wall. Also, it is possible to hear the sounds of people in the corridor. As we were very tired, it didn't really bother us, but for more sensible people it will be an issue.

The location is great, close to the Train Station and 25 min walking to city center. The breakfast is really good. Confortable bed. Nice staff. We were able to leave our luggage at reception after check out since our train would depart only late at night.

The room walls were too thin, so a lot of noise from other people's rooms made our sleep a bit challenging. Parking options were not the best too.

Really good location, close to the historic center at walking distance. The room was comfy and warm during the cold weather that the city had during our stay as well. The breakfast was really good, with a lot of variety using local produce.
