Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandMaybe need a bit refreshment - especially bathroom ceiling.
Big apartment with 3 separate rooms with to bathrooms makes stay with family very comfortable. Because of the kitchen equipped with basic staff, no need looking for breakfast when you are in hurry. The location is the most advantage of that facility - majority of the most famous things to see are very close in Roma and reachable walking but if you do not like walk - metro station is nearby.

United KingdomWe were slightly disappointed that the jacuzzi bath had been replaced with a second shower, as we were looking forward to using it.
The location was brilliant, easy to walk everywhere or a couple of minutes from the Barberini metro station. It was very spacious and great to have two bathrooms. Irem was lovely, a wonderful host with great communication before and during our stay. It had everything we needed for our stay.

IsraelCleanliness can be improved. Water pressure is low, although we had warm water 100% of the time. Kitchen tools seem old and not so clean, we washed most of them at our first morning. All of the above didn't bother us too much, maybe besides the water pressure, mostly since we ate outside Location makes up for everything!
Location is superb!!! One minute walk from Piazza Barberini, street goes up straight from the fountain at the center of the square so you can see it all the way. 5 minutes walk from Trevi and from the Spanish steps on the other direction. Barberini metro station is 5 minutes walk, bus stations to basically everywhere are 1 minute walk. There's a mini-market that is open until late night and few restaurants right downstairs. Bakeries and pastry shops few minutes walk. It can be used as a 3 bedroom apartment when one of them is used also for dining, we didn't eat at the apartment besides the kids breakfast so it was perfect for our purposes. Self check-in was easy, well instructed and smooth, host Irem was very pleasant, available and helpful.

United States of AmericaThat apartment really needs a lot of TLC. Site pictures are nice but do not reflect the actual condition of the apartment. I mean it was nice and all, nothing that I would say would stop you from staying here, just not what you'd expect.
Location was great, close to buses and train station. Some very good restaurants within walking distance.

United KingdomThe entrance doorway was pretty grubby although renovation work was ongoing in the building. The lift was temperamental. there are a number of different levels in the apartment including stairs. if you had mobility issues it would be challenging.
The location was excellent. An easy walk to the Spanish steps and the Trevi Fountain. The apartment was clean, and warm.

SwitzerlandThe apartment is not as new and clean as it seems to be in the photos provided in booking.com There are a few steps in two locations inside the apartment, which might not be a big deal for adult guests, but we were traveling with small children and we always had to keep an eye on the kids going up and down these steps. If more than 4 guests are staying in the apartment, you have to be aware that the third room is the living room and the guests in this room sleep in a sofa-bed
The location is unbeatable: 5-10 min away from Piazza Spagna and Fontana di Trevi. It makes this apartment an excellent base to explore Rome. There are plenty of nice restaurants in this area.

AustraliaThe apartment is very tired. It had not been cleaned properly at all. The shelves were very dusty and the floor was very dirty in places. The water pressure was very low meaning the showers were terrible. There were limescale stains all over the kitchen draining board and the kitchen tap had a constant leak. There were a few lightbulbs not working and we had to move the working ones around so we could light one of the bedrooms. Overall the place feels like it doesn't get much love which is a shame because it could be great with a bit of maintenance and effort. The access is also tricky as there are quite a few steep stone steps when you first enter the place, and then down to one of the bedrooms too. If you are travelling with someone with mobility issues or young children this could be an issue. We were in contact with the host who offered to send a cleaner over once I had alerted her of the issues, however, we declined as it was towards the end of our stay.
The beds were comfy and the location was very central.
