The host Caudia was attentive and delightful and made sure everything was provided and comfortable. The rooms are a good size, and all necessities have been thought out and provided. Claudia is good with English and quick to respond to any queries.

A little bit pricy!

The room that we rented was clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable! The receptionist, Claudia, was so nice and polite! She gave us useful information on the city, where to eat, visit, etc. Another plus was also the location. A 15-20 minute walk to the city centre or simply by bus in a few minutes as there are 2-3 bus stations nearby that take you to the center or the train station. Highly recommended!

It was a stay in those old typical,antique and proper Italian buildings.The apartment was quite spacious,as we booked two rooms+1 bathroom.I must admit the internet was quite slow and the bathroom small,but all sheets&towels very clean and qualitative. Same stands for the portable bed,which felt so comfortable due to the very thick&firm mattress The location was an extra bonus,very accessible to the most attractive places for the natives,which offered for us to enjoy the purest Italian experience! Easy access also to the main streets! At the beginning of our vacation me and my friends thought that we were very well oriented 'and knew all' about Italy but in the end we realized that we were able to have the maximum of the experience due to the affability and excellent instructions of the owner of this property Mrs.Claudia a very helpful and supportive lady!

I didn't have a problem since I only had one small suitcase, but keep in mind there is no elevator and you need to carry your luggage up

The room was clean and big. Claudia was very nice and provided me with a map and told me a route I could follow to visit and also suggestions to eat and buy food which I really appreciated. I think the location was very convenient I was able to walk to all the places, I think to the duomo was a 15 min walk, I like walking so no problem for me but bus also passes near by. She was also really nice to let me save my luggage for a couple hours more after my checkout. Thanks Claudia!!! I enjoyed so much my stay sorry for arriving at 6 😭

There is a lot of road work going on in the city which made walking around a little more difficult. However, this is not anything to with Claudia or the hotel so is not reflected in the scoring of this review.

Claudia is a lovely host who goes above and beyond to provide a home from home experience. Our room was light and airy and had all the right touches for us to relax and explore the city. The bed was extremely comfortable and aircon was very welcome relief from the 33C heat. Claudia escorted us round the neighbourhood to send us in the right direction to the city centre. She recommended a restaurant opposite which was the highlight of our stay. Very authentic experience and superb food. We would highly recommend La forestia 5 and will certainly return to stay here again.

The only thing I marked down for is the location and having no elevator. Lugging big bags up the stairs is a bit of mission but that's all personal things.

The accommodation was great, we loved our room because it felt like we had a whole house. There's a whole area sectioned off for the room we had which was really nice. The amenities were great, the bathroom and the room were really clean and the host was super friendly as well.

The place is clean and spacious. There is a small fridge inside the room. You can reach the center in 15-20 minutes by foot. The host, Claudia, is helpful and will provide you with a map to help you go around. There is a shop just across where you can buy a bus ticket. Claudia kindly helped us book a restaurant where we enjoyed a hearty meal on our last night at Firenze. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Nothing really, only annoying thing was the road construction in the near by piazza, but of course nothing the hotel could do about.

I highly recommend this place. If you like to walk it’s around 15-20 mins from the centre, but there’s a bus stop very nearby. Claudia is is the warmest host I’ve ever met - she will assist with everything. And the rooms are well decorated and spacious. Book it!

The AC wasn't really strong enough to cool the rooms, probably because we were in a suite, and the machine was located in the tiny hallway between the rooms. Also, there's a LOT of construction going on outside that got loud at times. This is not the fault of La Foresteria, though and it would not affect my decision to stay here again,

This is not a deal barker but every time the water is used in the bathroom, there is a loud bang from somewhere. Probably a boiler or something. Again, not a big deal but just strange.

- The room was clean, spacious and equipt with everything you need. Unless you go on vacations to sit in a room for the entire duration and expect to have everything you have at your own house, this place is right for you. - It is not that close to the city center but you have busses that can get you rather quickly to the city. We recommend walking so you can explore Florance but if you are lazy, there is always public transportation for you. - The host was fantastic and helpful. - The parking is nearby called Firenze Parcheggi Spa parcheggio Parterre 15E/day and it is a 3-4 min walk. The parking is underground and secured, your car is safe there. Florance is not a car-friendly city, just leave it there and you will be fine. All other parking spaces are either full or expensive.
