Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The rooms and toilet are old. Have to be renovated.
Very nice place, a little bit outside of the center but not critical. Beautiful view on the abbey.

Beautiful view of Monte Cassino and the Rocca. Also liked the WW2 focus of the hotel as that was what we came to see in Cassino (would also recommend visiting the Roman amphitheatre and archaeological museum). Pino the owner is very knowledgeable about WW2 history - there is an excellent display of exhibits and artifacts in the hotels public areas) - and helpful. Good breakfast also.

Friendly staff who spoke great English, with a fantastic location. We went as part of a group learning about the battle of Monte Cassino, this hotel is run by a gent who knows all about the battle and has lots of memorabilia and historical information within the hotel.

Was impossible to get a taxi in Cassino. We waited for close to an hour at the train station and finally the hotel staff came and picked us and delivered us to the hotel. Taxi’s just non-existent
The hotel and staff were amazing. Very good place to stay at a reasonable rate. A little off the beaten path.

The room was spacious, beds were comfortable the bathroom was a good size and a great shower. The locatiion was good, a short walk from bars resteraunts. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast had a great choice and fresh coffee brought to the table. Also had a great view of the Montecassino.

None, it was the perfect place to start my battle tour !!!
-La Pace is THE place to stay if you are there for the Battle of Monte Cassino -The owner Pino Valente knows almost everything about the battle, has hundreds of books that you can use and has original pieces like helmets, guns etc in the lobby. -He organizes walking tours -Nice comfortable room with a view on Monte Cassino -Typical Italian breakfast with many cakes but also cheese, ham, hard boiled eggs, yoghurt and toast bread -Very good location close to the road to go up to the monestry -Free parking in front of the door

If you're visiting Cassino to explore the battle of Monte Cassino, then this is the very best place to stay. There's lots of memorabilia and books in the hotel to look at, plus Pino, the owner can organize a tailored tour. Loved the breakfast!

Just a small thing: during our stay it was pretty cold in Italy, so heating could have lasted longer to make the nights even more comfortable.
Everything was good, the hotel is comfortable and clean in a good location. The breakfast is really good, especially because they offer cheese, ham, and egg besides pastries. The staff is super helpful.

Lovely staff/owner very interesting and knowledgeable about battle of cassino-stayed here for one night visiting my grandfathers war grave so was lovely to see the mini museum and artefacts collected and displayed at the hotel-great for all our needs
