To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomMy only real complaint was that our air conditioning broke and it didn't get fixed (there were 2 days left of our holiday). A temporary unit was provided and it gave some relief but not a lot. We did get offered to change rooms but this didn't really work for us as it would have been a worse room and not as close to the rest of our family. Disappointing we didn't get any noteworthy compensation for the inconvenience, or a quicker fix. It's a shame because the hotel was great for us otherwise
The staff were great, really helpful. The apartment we had was spotless and really nice overall. The pool was the perfect temperature. The children play areas were modest but a great way to occupy my 2 year old in between being in the pool

DenmarkLike in any place, you can not have everything. If you expect the modern interior in your room, you might be disappointed, but if you value more atmosphere of the place it will be your nr 1. Besides, you really not have time to stay in the room, there are a lot of things to do outside the room, and outside hotel.
I was impressed, it was so lovely to have a little bit of everything. As a guests, we had access to daily spa - jacuzzi, sauna, water massage. Outside pool was very nice and cleaned everyday. Taking sunbath was very refreshing having access to the pool. Restaurant was delicious, I highly recommend to order the dinner as well, to be able to taste the traditional Italian kitchen like different kind of fish, meat or soups not only pasta or pizza (which still is great, but more count as a fast food ;)). Staff was very nice and helpful, including the restaurant and cleaning service. We felt like at home :)
