Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe liked everything
The peaceful location, so quiet and relaxing. We loved the views and the large room. The breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice served most days outside was lovely. Our hosts were also delightful, so kind and helpful plus the cute dogs. The free shuttle service back from town was great and we used it most evenings but we walked down every day as it's such a picturesque walk.

United KingdomMinor points only...Bed sheets seemed slightly stale as if they'd been sitting for a while (not dirty though). Pool was closed. We tried to call one night to arrange the free shuttle (within the hours of service) but the call was cancelled each time - this was the only time it happened.
Josef & Enza's accommodation is a lovely setting in amidst lemon trees, we could see some from our window and little terrace. Quiet so sleeping was peaceful. Walking out to the communal garden area had fantastic views. Room was a good size with large fridge-freezer and kitchen area. Hosts were extremely pleasant and easy to contact (except once for the contact) and collected us from Napoli airport for a cheap price compared with a taxi. Josef even dropped us off at the train station when we were leaving at 7am. The road leading to the property is very narrow (there's a free shuttle) and is an experience on its own, good fun! It's an easy enough walk without the shuttle (probably 15-20mins to get into the very centre of Sorrento) but keep your wits about you for traffic as there are points where it's not wide enough for a small car and a person at the same time. Drivers all seem to be sensible on this road though so no real problem. Great recommendation by Enza for dinner - il Leone Rosso, we all highly recommend it.

United States of AmericaWe would have liked more kitchen equipment and kitchen basics to use for the preparation of food. We like to cook in. Perhaps this wouldn't be a problem for people who enjoy eating out more often, however. We had difficulty getting to and from Sorrento Lemons. We didn't realize it was so far up the mountain on an ancient, Roman-laid cobbled pathway. It's perfect, however, if you are young and in great shape! Yes, there is a shuttle that runs 9-11 am and 4-midnight. You walk down a short way to meet the shuttle and then afterwards walk from your location in Sorrento to a pre-assigned meeting place to return. I don't know where you would park if you had a rental car.
Sorrento Studio Lemons is a lovely destination high in the hills above Sorrento, which affords a gorgeous panorama of views from their lovely gardens and nice pool. There is even an outdoor shower next to the pool for guests' use. The area is fragrant from lemon trees surrounding it. Giuseppe and his wife took care of our every need quickly. The shuttle service was really an extra bonus.

AustraliaThe property was lovely views amazing. We were there at the end of September, and the weather was really warm still. Would have been nice to use the pool, but unfortunately, it needed a good clean. The apartment was cute, very small but did the job. The shower, wow, it was the tiniest shower I have ever seen. You wouldn't want to be a big person to try to use it. The shuttle service was great. We walked down to Sorrento each day, which was a beautiful walk, and got the shuttle up each afternoon/evening. The breakfast was amazing. Hosts fantastic 🤩

United KingdomThere was nothing to dislike, but there was no air conditioning in our studio, although the electric fans were great it could get hot at night. The free shuttle is really valuable but outings needed be planned knowing that it is not available between 11 and 4. Particularly if needing to come back up the hill.
This is a lovely studio within the grounds of a traditional working lemon and olive grove. It has amazing views in a peaceful location. When we had a chilled day we would often have the pool to ourselves,The owners are a lovely couple for whom nothing is too much trouble.

United States of AmericaCharming lemon farm stay up in the hills! This BnB was such a nice experience the owners are so nice. Giuseppe was great in helping us get to our day trips. Went out of his way to taxi us to the ports as well. If you can bring over a wine bottle and enjoy it in his terrace with a spectacular view of the city and sunset. There is a free shuttle that brings you up and down the hill. From there it’s like a 10 min walk to the city center. Great stay would definitely recommend it!

AustraliaNot much to dislike but if I had to say anything the room was tight because we are a family (2 adults and 2 kids) but not a problem. Some coffee would have been great. The water pressure is low.
Sorrento Studios Lemons Hill was a experience from the start. The free shuttle bus navigates expertly through roads no bigger that a bike track. It’s a far distance from town but they are happy to take you. The hosts are so kind and make you comfortable in anyway they can. The room is tidy. Bed is comfortable. So quiet and peaceful. The lemon farm is lovely. The hosts put on a special dinner for us. We had a really early check out where they took us to Pompei (for a fee). Guispeppe even waited for us to make sure the bus stop was ok.

Amazing location with breathtaking views, although cold the pool was great to cool off and as not many quests so quiet. The hosts were super friendly and picked us up from the Port free of charge. Always helpful and they have 2 amazing dogs who become my friends. Shuttle service into town and back great and drivers really friendly. We always walked into town which was fun and took around 20 minutes then took lift back up.

United KingdomNothing! Just ensure you are getting the shuttle service which runs no later than midnight as the road up to the hotel is too narrow for normal cars to get through so if you cannot get the shuttle you would need to walk or find bikes to take you down the road.
Such a beautiful hotel and location. Surrounded by lemon trees, so peaceful and the most amazing view where you can watch sunrise/sunset with a bottle of wine!

AustraliaDespite advertising air conditioning, there is only air conditioning in a shared living room and not in individual bedrooms. This made our nights a bit uncomfortable with the heat during our summer stay.

United States of AmericaI did wish it was a bit cleaner and had more items for the kitchen (i.e. a kitchen knife and coffee)
This location is so beautiful and serene. We loved being away from the crowds and noise, and the pool was such a bonus after a day out in the sun. The owners are so friendly and you feel like your staying at a relative’s house. We didn’t mind the shuttle because the timing worked out for us, but definitely worth being away from the center if you are wanting a more leisurely stay.

United KingdomNothing! It was amazing.
After a busy stay in Rome, this was a very welcome retreat, on the hillside over looking Sorrento. Being away from the town was actually a positive, as it was away from all the hustle and bustle. The morning and afternoon/evening free shuttle bus make the distance almost unnoticeable. On a couple of occasions we did walk in, which was a nice change and only actually took us 15 mins to the Pollio supermarket pickup point. The stunning views, and the peace and quiet made us not actually want to go into Sorrento on an evening, instead we choose to picnic on the terrace, watching the sun set with a bottle of wine. In the day, we enjoying relaxing in the pool, with amazing views of versuvius. The owners are beautiful and will do everything to help, including a shuttle to the airport for 70 euros. The breakfasts were amazing. Thank you so much Guiseppe and family, we look forward to returning and visiting Erculano one day!
