The carpet in the room was very rundown and a bit smelly. My mattress was saggy.

Old hotel, needs renovation. The room was just basic, nothing special.

The hotel was located in the city center and was in walking distance from the sighteeing. The breakfast was good although the price for +10 euro could be lower. The lobby area was very nicely decorated.

Too outdated. The room with a view had said view, a very nice one, but it was a long high rectangular window and you need to stand in order to appreciate the view.

The hotel is old, there is no refrigerator or bar in the room, but, in my personal opinion, it is worth its 3 stars.

Outdated facilities. Only option for obtaining hot or cold drink after breakfast was non functioning vending machine containing mainly water. Very limited breakfast items which were not replenished. Discernible springs in the bed mattresses. Very shabby carpets and decoration. No maps or local information in the hotel.

Rooms and public areas of this hotel are in need of a renovation soon.

Great location - in the heart of the city center and just a 15 min walk from the railway station. Lots of lovely restaurants near by. Friendly staff. Our room was clean and the breakfast was included, so we had everything we needed for our short stay there.

The hotel needs a makeover, it is quite old and it shows. I also found very unpleasant the noise coming from the cinema next door, on friday until almost 2 a.m..

Room wasn't set up as requested on booking, although was quickly changed.

I'd upgraded my room to a twin from single but when we checked in the bed was a double, they quickly sorted that and remade it to twin beds. Room was fine, everything worked, Bologna is expensive for hotels so this was fairly OK value considering the alternatives but still, overall, it's expensive for what you get - again, the city is expensive not this hotel! Checkout was easy and quick, desk staff were okay to good. It's pretty much right in the centre so pedestrian access is easiest, or public transport. Good location for the central sights.

It is a very dated hotel and really in need of an update. It creates a very bad first impression. Almost tempted to leave and go to another but it does grow on you.

The location is excellent and very close to the centre of Bologna. The staff are very pleasant too.

Not hotel related: if you plan to park your car there, google maps will lead close to the parking garage but not exactly there, so you will have to check the map and drive there finding the way (it is a 2 minutes drive though),

The location is perfect, right in the city center, at the beginning of a no-cars area. The personnel is extremely friendly and professional, and welcomes you with a big smile. The rooms are quite big. The hotel is quite vintage, reminding of old times, so expect to sleep a bit in the past.

Poor sound insulation. Neighboring cinema could be heard throughout our entire floor. Room was shaking with the movie's audio.
