To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

CanadaHaving to give a 200 euro deposit that will stay on your credit card for 15-30 days is absolutely ridiculous and I would have never booked this place if I knew that was the case as I stayed there on the way to and from Sorrento. Also, the check in staff are useless and lazy and make you do it all online anyway once you get there
Clean place to stay, close to the port to catch ferries is really the only reason for staying here

Germanycheck in was available right after 3pm and to put your luggage before you should pay 4 euro for each bag. Check in was little bit complicated to enter digital keys.. and I heard one guest couldn't check in because they came late and couldn't get pin code. Room is old and you can hear other guest's sounds.

FranceThe check in was another block away. It practically means travelling all the way to the check in office and then come back to the apartment. It was a hassle. It does not seem like a hotel. But a make shift apartment made into something that looks like a hotel. The hotel has sachets of hand wash and shower gel, not enough and super inconvenient to use. 3 sachets of each were there.

CanadaThe check-in process is complicated. You have take go to a separate place first to check in and collect keys. Then head back to the place you booked. The whole process could be so much better. Baggage storage is 4 euros for a couple hours, even before check in. The worst bit is they charge Euro 200 on your card for deposit. Most places hold your card number or place a hold. This place charges you that! It's not mentioned before. You have to hope that they return it after the said 14 days
Clean, renovated rooms and washroom. Neighbors can be noisy. Book the place that also has their office, that way you don't have to carry your luggage from one place take another.

FranceThe only “issue” was the cleaning lady, unfriendly and kept huffing and puffing whenever she saw us. Not sure why. When we checked out and left the keys in the box, she rolled her eyes and didn’t respond when we said bye.
Very good location, close to metro and central Napoli as well as many attractions and landmarks. Great value for the price and affordable! Everything went well! We checked in online and got the keys from reception (which is in a different location from the hotel but very close!)

Is interesting, so the reception and the rooms are in different locations but pretty near. Our room had AC which was very important to have during the summer. Just that it was pretty small, so it was complicated to navigate with big luggages. Nevertheless we could sleep well, not noisy and always clean. Also had to do some home office and the internet was pretty good.
