Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Needs an upgrade / some investment. We had a small room and ants infested first night. Received lovely upgrade to corner suite above small pool - in the photo

Spain-The only downside I would say is that you need a car to make the most of the stay because you would want to explore the beaches around the area and also go out for dinner in the different restaurants in the area. -In terms of breakfast, there is one thing they can improve, provide some more variety of products and also fresh fruit cut.
-I spent 3 nights in the hotel with my partner and we loved every second of our stay. We would have stayed longer if we could. It's a classy hotel, with good standards and a lovely atmosphere. It's perfect for a romantic stay with your partner. -The location is perfect to explore Costa Esmeralda. The main beaches are very close in a car drive. -The views of the bay from the room and the swimming pool are just outstanding. They are worth every penny. -Breakfast is great (cakes and croissants are delicious) and you can enjoy amazing views from the restaurant, with the sun shining, to start the day with a smile. -The beds are really comfortable and we enjoyed a good rest. -We had a room with swimming pool and sea views, which I recommend. We had a little balcony which was lovely to enjoy too. -The common areas and the surroundings (garden, bar area, swimming pool...) are very well looked-after and beautiful. -They have an infinity swimming pool which is lovely too and they provide towels. -There is parking inside the hotel, which is very helpful because you would need a car to stay there. -Staff was friendly and attentive, which is always appreciated. Just an example, one morning we were waiting outside the restaurant on a sofa because our room was being cleaned. A member of the staff came to offer us a drink while waiting without us requesting it. It was a lovely gesture!

United Kingdom- Rooms need upgrading a little to give them a modern touch but they are very clean. A painting or a picture on the wall can help to add character. - Breakfast was okay… would’ve been better with fresher fruit (fruit salad: sliced pineapple, grapes etc). - Bar menu needs an update. For example ham and cheese sandwich was basic yet cost €15 euros.
- The HPB staff kindly upgraded our room for free to make our stay special. Amazing view of greenery and surrounding ocean. - INCREDIBLE VIEW FROM THE RESTAURANT - Less than 20 mins walk to La Celvia and Capriccioli beach (our favourites of our stay and we explored many beaches on our private boat trip around the North & North Eastern side of island). There are pavements to walk on so it’s safe to walk. - Floor manager of the restaurant was incredible. old Sardinian fellow, who was full of joy everyday. - Staff we’re very helpful and attentive. Bar staff need a little training. - 4 course Dinner was amazing. We went half board and we were so impressed by the quality of food on offer. - Pool was great.

DenmarkThe sunbeds in the pool area weren't super comfy, and the hotel did not provide an iron when asked (not a service they normally provide apparently).
The facilities overall were great, the views over Cala Volpe are beautiful, and the breakfast was really nice. Very close to some really nice beaches (Capriccioli). The pool was great.

SwitzerlandStaff is attentive overall However receptionists can be more attentive and flexible. Some lack politeness and understanding to the issues you want them to address I think the fact that all stuff is wearing official costumes is a bit of an exaggeration for a sea resort and also kills a chilled vacation atmosphere you want to have
It was a very pleasant stay The hotel was very new and clean Location is good close to the beautiful beaches and beach clubs therefore you can the explore the island and enjoy best areas without having to have long distance trips in case you come for a short stay or just want to have a calm vacation Amaizing breakfast in a beautiful outside garden and very attentive stuff Croissants with cream were unforgettable!

AustriaWe booked a room with seaview but got in the first night only a room with garden view. Even though this room was nice it was not what we booked. On the next day we requested another room and got offered similar rooms to that we originally got… so not what we booked. But finally the kind Lady from the reception organized a lovely room with amazing sea view. So at the end we got what we booked. For a Hotel in this price range i would have expected to get what we booked already at the beginning without the need to request it. 2nd the breakfast was quite reduced and limited. For a 4* Hotel at costa smeralda you should expect more. Fresko orange juice or an omlette should be Standard. Overall a nice stay with some potential for improvement
The view was amazing. The room we finally got was very nice.

Very nice view from the restaurant where we took a very good breakfast. Our room was just in front of the swiming pool unfortunately we couldn't use due to bad weather. Very close to Porto Cervo by car (around 10 minutes). Nice, relaxing, comfy and cosy hotel.

United KingdomAttitude of the staff was poor. Had to ask several times for coffee at breakfast . Seemed very disorganised. Ordered a coffee in the bar and the bar tender went off and returned 15 mins later whilst I waited .Everything seemed to be too much trouble . Place needs a pool bar where you can order a snack at lunchtime. Eating in the formal restaurant meant showering and changing from the pool - far from ideal and relaxing . The position is lovely but up a long hill and quite remote . No restaurants in walking distance
Lovely location

United KingdomDated & in need of refreshment decor & furniture wise. Infinity pool was not working to full potential despite high season. Initial “sea view” room was not sea view, we had to walk across a shared terrace invading the privacy of the room next door to see the sea. After room change it was better. Transfers to the beach are charged per person per day despite it being the hotels own shuttle, then beach beds specifically for the hotel guests are an extra fee on top. Taxis cost a fortune regardless of short distances, the minimum fee is €45 for a 5 minute drive. Nothing is within walking distance.
Great views & beautiful gardens.
