Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bathroom could be brighter light-wise
Very friendly welcome from Johnny. A lovely traditional hotel. You couldn’t be any nearer to the awesome tower and cathedral. Also, very quiet because of its very close proximity to the hospital. A little gem!

Bathroom was a little bit damp.
Great location, so close to the tower and lovely to have a garden to sit and relax in. Great coffee machine in room and we appreciated having a fridge.

Old furniture, very basic. When we checked in, there was no soap, shampoo, conditioner or body wash. We were told it will be provided to us later because they ran out of supplies. 6 hours later, none was supplied. We ask again, and they are still out of it. We had to buy our own stuff.
Location is perfect, although we were located in the separate building. It was 5 mins walk from the leaning tower of Pisa.

Confused with the check in being in a different location from the room. The hotel has two buildings. No shampoo in the room only a few tiny soaps. Would be nice to have some couple of bottles in the fridge...especially appreciated on hot days and long travels.
Location was great. Family unit is generous and the coffee is great.

We just missed some small table... nothing else :-)
Fantastic location, really 100m from the cathedral and the tower. The staff was very nice and helpful. Everything was very clean. The hotel is also very close to a large parking place

The bathroom was quite small and the shower door was awkward. Adequate for myself and husband but awkward to shower the young grandchildren.
Excellent location. The staff were helpful and friendly. Clean and tidy rooms with all you needed for a short stay and we received discount vouchers for breakfast at a cafe across the road. Hot water in the bathrooms at all times.

Great location - but we were put in the additional building a few blocks away. Would have been amazing being so close to the tower precinct as we had expected.

We have spend one night in this Hotel. The rooom was clean, front desk personnel very friendly. We had a good sleep, it was quiet although is a very central position. Vis a vis of the hotel is a coffee and breakfest place Posto where we had our breakfest. One can park a car in a very big public parking 100 m from the Hotel .

Overall a great stay. We managed to self check-in around 11 pm. The room was clean and spacious, same about the bathroom. I enjoyed having a high ceiling. We dropped our bags and walked to the tower in three minutes. There were almost no one there at night. The location is exceptional.

Plastic door to the bathroom was a bit strange.
Fantastic location, a few steps from the monuments. Big room, ideal for 4. Very nice people at the reception who took the time to show us a map of the city, recommend places to visit and eat.

The instruction to reach the destination (separated building) was not clear. There were no shelves where you could put the shampoo in the shower. Shampoo bags were such small quantities that you hardly reach to wash properly yourself.

During the day, not at night, lots of motor bikes parked and noise as they came and went. But still a great location and great staff.
Great location right outside of the Pisa old city opening leading to the famous leaning tower and good walks and good food. The staff was wonderful and so accommodating. Can’t say enough about the great staff.

The water pressure is erratic and the shower goes from warm to cold (not just cool, but cold) for about 30 to 60 seconds before getting warm again, which happens two, three or four times during a shower.
The staff were excellent, very friendly and polite. The hotel is very close to the Square Of Miracles and you can see the Tower from some of the bedrooms.

The hotel does not have an elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs.
Lots of room in the family room. King bed and 2 twins. You cant beat the locatuon. 40 seconds to the tower. Close to food and shopping.
