Nicely decorated and very clean hotel. Although our room was small, it was really cozy, with a comfortable bed. The staff is very kind and helpful. Location is not central, but the metro station is just a few minutes walk away, and other public transportation is also available. The price-quality ratio is good, so we would choose this hotel again :)

The only thing we didn't like was tthe tramway noise that would passby on the Ruben street. If you want to avoid that, ask for a room on the opposite side of the hotel. It didn't bother us as much.

Rubens is a very clean hotel in a semi-residential neighborhood. It is a couple of blocks from the popular streets. It is not in a tourist area of town which makes a lot of things more accessible and local. The hotel pictures on the Booking.com are under rated in my opinion. The rooms and facilities are nicer than the photos. We traveled in the beginning of May and the nightly rates were very reasonable. We were skeptical at first when we booked the hotel but we were pleasantly surprised as to how good this hotel is. The front desk staff are superb, very courteous and go out of their way to help you out.

We had a minor issue with the control of the temperature for bath. Upon reporting, we were moved to another room on the spot where everything was just above expectation.

Excellent attitude by every and each one! Francesco took care that lounge and breakfast would be just perfect. We meet people in the lift and the breakfast room but we didn't here nothing and nobody from our room. The sleep was great. Very clean. Good pressure of water in the bathroom. Placed very close to a metro station. Several nice places in the neighborhood for dinner. We chose Billy's Place about 100 meter away, and we really enjoyed the meal and the service there. Highly recommended.

Busy road. To be honest I’m a very light sleeper but after a busy day I was so tired I slept through it.

Large room. Friendly staff who let us store our bags before we checked in. Spa bath. Less than 5 mins walk to metro. 30ish min walk to Stadium. Good breakfast. Ask for fresh hot food if it’s running out. Good cocktails by Francesso very good and he had plenty of free snacks between 7-8pm

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here, whether it was warm welcome at reception, the gift left in my room from the Guest Services Manager or the friendly welcome in the hotel bar from Gianluigi where we were offered a complimentary drink and pizza snacks.

Although the room and the bathroom were clean and tidy, there were some small details that needed to be taken into consideration, like dust on some furniture or a stain on a pillowcase. The TV sets also should have internet connection.

The room was clean and spacious. There was 24h reception, the staff was kind and helpful and the hotel was only 5 minutes walking away from Gambara subway station.

The whole hotel is extremely charming and stylish but definitely in need of renovation...and cleanliness could be upgraded...

The room was very spacious and charming as well as the welcome card with chocolates and a welcome drink coupon. The beds were really comfortable. Bathroom alltogether was great with various shower options. Breakfast very tasty even if a little scarce.
