Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hotel is in a nice location and a good base to explore Bologna. It was an easy enough walk from the main train station. My room was simple but spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and the included breakfast was tasty. The lift was large and modern.

The shower was very small.
The location was perfect. Only a 17 min walk from the train station and 5-10 mins to the city center. The room was just a basic room but that was all we needed for our one-night stay prior to flying out the next morning. The bedding was super comfy.

My only complaint is its proximity to a busy restaurant area that made it a bit noisy at nighttime. However, this would only be a problem in summer when the window needs to be open for circulation.
The property was very well located, close to the city centre and train station - makes it very convenient for travellers wishing to take day trips out of Bologna. The staff were lovely, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

11am check out. Rain head shower. I prefer to have a hand held shower option too. A good value for money hotel in a nice area.
Location was excellent. The coffee and croissant breakfast was a nice surprise. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The room had a nice view. The room was nice and compact. Comfortable bed. The room was clean as was the bathroom.

The bathroom was fairly compact.
Hotel was conveniently placed and just over 5 minutes walk to the city centre and Quadrilarero. The breakfast was included and was a basic continental one. The bedroom could have done with more drawer space.

Cramped room, construction quality.

No coffee or tea-making facilities in the room. The walls must be pretty thin, I could hear the fellow in the next room snoring! Not to mention his hour-long conversation at 1am.
All neat and clean, and instant hot water from the shower. Breakfast was simple but nice: great coffee, croissant and jams. Great location: so close to the places I wanted to go to.

The heat in the room was a little intense, I had to open a window to regulate the temperature and there were some roadworks outside (not the fault of the hotel) which obviously got louder.
Bedroom was small but comfortable, extra pillow always a pus. Bathroom was small but perfect for one. I hadn't realised there was a breakfast included. It was just a croissant and coffee, so I was pleasantly surprised rather than disappointed. Location was great, its right in the centre.

Vanity mirror in the room was missing. Everything else was fine.
Location was great, close to the main attractions and lots of great restaurants nearby. Bed and pillows were comfortable and the room spacious. The staff was friendly.

No refrigerator in the room. No possibility to make tea or coffee in the room. Very narrow bathroom.
Very good location. City center. Many restaurants, bars and shops in a walking distance. Good breakfast.

Maybe the bathroom was a bit tiny, but definitely not something I would define as a negative. We all really enjoyed the stay
The position is super central; the staff were all lovely, kind and very helpful; rooms are simple but bed was super comfy; lovely view of San Luca from bedroom (was on 5th floor); lovely breakfast included

Great location, close to everything. Close to lots of restaurants. Could be noisy from outside because it’s a bust thoroughfare for restaurants but we liked the vibe and buzz.
